Out of pure morbid curiosity, as well as the inability to make up my own topic I post this here.

Have you ever rage quit a game? What game? As well as what damage ensued to controller, TV, friends, family, and eventual police?

My mind gets hazy about this kind of thing, all I seem to remember is: Adventure island for the NES, a damn flying eggplant, a bathroom door, and then darkness....

I was playing Cricket 07 and was 2/347, I was on a roll. Then the rest of my team gets rolled for 57. I was so pissed I slammed off the console and shouted into my pillow for 10 minutes. But if you think thats bad you should see my brother.

I just did it with Madden 09.My Eagles vs the Cubs. 0-17 at the beginning of the third quarter, and I played ANOTHER interception. I just turned it off and said some nasty words to the world in general.

Only on the Half life games, and Burnout revenge on the 360, which is so broken I don't know why I keep going back to it. I tend to throw my controller down onto the bed and catch it when it bounces up.

I just rage quit Riddick after I was handed a screwdriver, given absolutely NO cover or shadows and was told to take down 3 armored, assault rifle-wielding baddies carrying flashlights.

How'd you play a game that isn't out yet?

On topic, I don't get crazily angry at games. I might stop playing for a few weeks out of frustration but that's it.

Sorry my mind was on that game while typing. I meant episode 2. I can't wait for 3 though.

Ahh rage quitting, my old accomplice. We made our way through the Dreamcast Lara Croft, Assassins creed and all of its water related scenes, and Mass Effect and my annoying tendency to forget to save.
I dont get actually angry, its more of a sadistic inner rage. Which basically means that anyone around me gets a full treatment of evil. Once after a particularly long boss fight in Blue Dragon (Yes, i know, i needed to review it.) and after repeated losses, i retreated downstairs to find my friend eating some cereal. He asked me how the game is, and i replied by removing the cap on the salt mill, and pouring the entire contents into his meal, he just sat there and let me (Like the man he is)

Ive flung discs punched/kicked a few doors/walls. Suicided a few mice at a wall (AMI Trust BIOS Dual Scrolls were awesome like the first mouse to have a decent pair of thumb buttons and only cost a tenner each)

There's a sniper who plays on my usual 2fort server in tf2. He's a good sniper, but he's paranoid as all hell and also plays like 10 hours a day (every day). So sometimes I get repeatedly killed by him and get really pissed, rapidly changing my class so I can kill him and just getting angrier each time he kills me. I tend to end up sneaking up behind him and POWing him as a heavy or bombing him to death with demoman, but up until I get my revenge I will tunnel vision until that bastard dies. >_<
