Back in the day I was playing Ridge Racer Type 4.
The controller was malfunctioning, but only a little. Until it caused me to lose several races in a row.
Then the controller had a meeting with a sledgehammer!
And it felt good!

Yes... after losing most of my battle fleet and 1 station on X3 Terran conflict then AUTOSAVING THE FREAKIN GAME i punched the wall... i broke 3 of my fingers. and lost about 3weeks worth of played time

My controller is in a sad state due to my temper, the entire bottom part is missing, the bit where you put in the microphone, that's what happens when you repeatedly throw your contoller full force against the wall....then go pick it up and do it again.

halo 3 MP. those noobs on my team. i once made a kid cry on xbl. then one time i got so mad i turned it into a FFA match only i was party leader so i couldnt kick myself so i killed my teammates till they all eventually quit and i won the game.

It's quite awkward for someone to try and comfort you when you are pissed at a game. My then girlfriend tried to comfort me when I got pissed and yelled at a game. I was like "I'm not mad because I'm 5 yrs old and lost a tee-ball game. It's just a game that I got really into. No big deal." It was incredibly emasculating to be treated like a child.

"Oh, it's ok honey. I'm sure you'll beat that... uh... thingy next time."

I don't usually go that crazy about it, but quite often I do start playing something and 10 minutes later when everything's going to hell I just think "Fuck this shit" and turn the game off, and 5 minutes later likely try again.

I don't rage quit, I sad quit. I'm a fairly controlled person so I don't get rage. I do get a little angry, but I sit through it and keep playing. My entertainment level goes down and down as I experience a mix of being pissed off, frustration, and depression until I quietly leave and go sulk somewhere.

Then I feel better and go play again, and kick myself for getting off in the first place.

Earlier on in Gears of War 2, I was playing by my self on insane mode not really paying attention on a level with tons of tickers. After my 50th try, I done my usual: "No, fuck you!" *throw spin the controller away from me onto the edge of my bed*

I still have yet to go back to it, but I think thats more because I am tired now.
