Poll: FPS or RPG?

My two favorite genres, so I enjoy both equally

I personally prefer FPS. I usually get bored of RPGs, but that's not to say I won't give them a try. For example I played Final Fantasy with a friend, I liked it but decided it wasn't really my cup of tea.

While I enjoy both I have alot more fun with firt person shooters.

I really like both of them. Lately I've been playing more RPG's though so I pick RPG.

I have more RPG time from when I used to play Diablo 2 and Runescape all day. I would say I like RPGs more but I play alot more FPS online with my friends.

I guess Ill go with RPG, I love both but often RPGs have more content and things to do so they stick with me where as FPS are usually really quick and then some multiplayer then I move on to the next one.

Though I prefer RPGs due to the story, there are also good FPSs and hey, who doesn't like pumping something full of lead sometimes. So really, I'm more or less indifferent.

RPG's no bloody contest for me FPS have not evolved anywhere outside of graphicaly in the last 20 years, same physics engine, same game engines, same shit run and shoot at guys they fall down 8 hour campeign/story whater. Writing that could have come from a down syndrome patient and a £40 quid price tag for what will amount to yet another identical multiplayer slugfest (I really will never get guys who own nothing but FPS it's the same fucking thing)

And not even going into the online communities, fuck me do retards stick to things full of explosions, guns and grey grizzled space marines spewing out awful diatribe with every line or what.

You mean TF2 as in TF2 RPGFPS TF2 in it's declious mix?

It's going quite RPG like, even though you don't get stats, unique abilities on items, grinding and crafting? Oh yes!

Blech.. I hated the addition of the crafting system.
