Dude, guns aren't cool...fistfights are the way to go my friend.
can't bring a fist to a gunfight... it gets shot full of more holes than swiss cheese.
But don´t bring a gun to a knife fight.Everyone will gang up on you.And trust there aren't enough bullets in that gun.
there are if it's a p99.

Just because they look like fully automatic assault rifles doesn't mean they are.
And no, of course not.
It's a completely different receiver.
Well, I'll go ahead and take your word for it.

Like I said: my knowledge concerning firearms is quite limited.

But it burns so fast through the ammo that if you don´t hit everyone your dead.Since the reloading the p99 takes a little time.

A lot of these arguments can be solved with a quick trip to wikipedia you know.

And that is how I think it should be implemented. /jk

Well, I think you can all guess my stance on this.
Or at least which option is closest to my idea.

Also, I want a Tommy Gun. Because who wouldn't want to be able to fire off 850 rounds a minute? Hunting would be hilarious with that. No, really.

Every person has the right to hang bear arms on their wall. How could that be misinterpreted?

Why everything short of a nuke? Why not include the nukes as well. I'd personally love a nuke. Of course you could never use it but it'd be a good centre piece in the lounge. "so what's that?" "oh .. that it's just my nuke, cup of tea?"

You could have a disarmed nuke if you want.

This could be made easier. I feel that there shouldn't be assault weapons, but I also don't think mentally challenged people should get them either (I went with the "no guns for crazies" option).

Now where is the fun in that? I guess I could tell people it was armed. Might creep them out a bit though. I wonder if there is any on ebay....

EDIT. I checked ebay and there are none :(

There is always "People with a criminal record or history of mental illness should be the only ones who cannot have guns"

The right to bear arms is a term that gets tossed around a lot when debating gun control laws. It was put in the constitution when guns were inaccurate had an ammo capacity of one and took two minutes to reload. How do you think it should be implemented today?
The inaccurate part would make it worse...
And the writers of the Bill of Rights thought very far ahead, that's why it's still relevant over 200 years of it being written. The right to bear arms is a very important one, because if you take the weapons away from the civilian populace, what is to stop the government from abusing their power, and gaining powers that they were not meant to have in the first place (this is happening now, by the way).
And to take a quote from someone I don't remember: "The people should not fear the government, the government should fear the people."

I have to ask: did your finger slip while you were typing the title, or was that intentional?

It is ridiculous that you can buy an assault weapon in the U.S. No amount of deer hunting requires armor piercing rounds and a muzzle velocity of 3,200 ft/s.
Uhhhh....
We can't buy assault weapons in the U.S.
You can buy the parts to assulte weapones and assemble it yourself, funny law huh.

I think as long as your not a crimnal or a phsyco then your entitled to that right.

"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."

We the citzens have the right to protect are selfs for the people that govern us.

Me, you, and Zombie Jefferson should overthrow the government. I've always wanted to run around with heads on pikes. (And I promised my friend Marissa we would go run around with heads on pikes together. Might as well make it a date.)

These fools banging on about assault weapons in the US know nothing of the relevent legislation. The assault weapons act of 1984 bans the sale of all fully automatic weapons to civilians. civilian legal semi automatic weapons are available in their stead. Also, you CANNOT just buy the parts of a fully automatic assault rifle and asemble them yourself as for the purposes of the law the "gun" part of the weapon is the lower reciever, and that is what goes on your lisence. The only way you can get a fully automatic m16 as a civilian legally in the US is to buy a semi auto civilian legal AR-15 and a lower reciever from an m16 made before 1984. These are legal because they were made before the 1984 act came into effect. The downside to this is because of the rarity of these lower recievers they are extremely hard to come buy and often sell for well over ten thousand dollars. Or you could just spend a hundred bucks on a 1960s AK-47. Still need a class 3 license tho, and they take background and psychological tests.

Also, armor piercing and high velocity military grade ammunition are illegal for civilian sale anyhoo.
