I should report you for a biased poll, since in your topic there are only people who "hate on" and people who "dig" said material.
But hey, whatever.
Anyway, like Sonic says, "It's your body!"
I would never get one, though I have often thought about it, but...It just doesn't seem my type of thing to do. It's very, like, if I could turn the damn thing off when I wanted it off.
Like why does everyone need to constantly know about my love of Zelda? Why put anything on my back, I would never get to see it. It's for me, isn't it? Not the rest of the world to shit on or say "lol that guys cool cuz marios on his arm!" I don't know. I just really don't see the point. There's other ways to express oneself or express love for something. I think some Celtic designs are pretty awesome, but do I really want it all over my arm all the time? It's a tough decision, living with something for the rest of your life.
Hmmm you're like my tattoo arch-nemesis, you see them from a completely polarised perspective to me.
That's cool though, I respect your opinion and all but explain - why does a Zelda tattoo need to portray your love of the Zelda series to anyone but yourself?
No one said you had to get it on your back?I have my Tokidoki tatt on my chest and it's there for me, I don't really take my shirt off every chance I get so I can show it off? In fact I'm quite modest about revealing my body. The tattoo is there because I like the design, I like what it stands for and what it means to me.
Some people rate it and others don't, doesn't matter to me one bit really.
Tattoos are something you get done for you and you alone.
Getting a tattoo to please//impress or fit in with other people is the completely wrong way to approach body art imo.
