Poll: God damn forums...

I just realized that I've spent all of my free time today on the escapist forums...WTF! I even slowed down on the gaming!I don't even know why I'm doing it!What is so great about these threads that makes me stay and leave my two cents everywhere?

It really started out slow,I would log on to the escapist to watch some videos maybe read an article.In the past few days though I started posting...then posting...then posting.Now I just seem to keep doing it.Really,how do we find this fun?(we means you too...yeah you...I know,you post here too much too...unless you don't then I'm happy for you.)I'd like to know...is it the people?The topics?What?

Besides that though really I just wanted to ask,how much time do you spend on forums?It doesn't even have to be just the escapist.I would just like to know if I'm going crazy or not.

This place just ends up sucking you in after a while. It's the reason I'm able to average 100+ posts a day unless I'm not being too active. It's like the effect TvTropes has on most people.

Why do I find the Escapist fun?

I like to argue, I'm opinionated, and I like to write.

I can argue on the forums, express my opinions, and practice writing in some of My Pimpin' Reviews.

Trust me, once you type a comment there is no going back. It'll be worse if you join the Forum Games and RP section. That place will suck up all your free time, like it has done to me.(Post count jumped from originally 1 or 2 comments a day to 20+)

My post count's pretty moderate compared to the epic posters like Lambi, Sassafrass, and VaudevillainVeteran.

They've all been here for only about 8 months or so and they're up in the 30,000s

I post commonly, but it large amounts at one time. Not large amounts a day, mind, but in one day I gorge myself with forum activity. Just how I do it, I guess. Like today, I made quite a few posts, meaning I'll probably make very few tomorrow.
