A very simple question, but I just wanted to get an idea of how many people have payed for a Gold subscription, and who has rejected Microsoft's attempts to make you play Halo. No, Bill, I don't want to.

I am silver, but am hoping to change within the next month since a whole load of people I know have gotten an Xbox recently.

Gold and Gold (I have 2)
I wish my brother would get Gold too though, so he would stop using my other one. But he prefers to be cheap and stay Silver.

Gold, but the only reason me and almost every single gold member are so is because Microsoft is still pulling the bull shit of paying for that when it competitors are Free for everything except DLC and stuff.

Silver. I payed for Gold once, and found that I barely played online. I won't be doing that again, I'll stick to TF2, CSS and L4D on the PC for my online needs.

snap. I got the 1 month for 1 pound deal, and Ive played online literally twice. I prefer to play games on my own tbh, or multiplayers where Im in the same room as others.

get gold if you want to, but it depends what kind of games you play.

Do you play multipalyer a lot or at least have a large multiplayer focus with the games you use?
Do all your friends play multiplayer or play games you do which contain coop?

If there was a yes to one of those questions then Gold is a good choice. Its about the price of a game every six months and apart from the players is a good service.

Oh and would you believe you used to pay for gold on the Games for Windows Live, they dropped that pretty quickly since there are only 15 games on the GFW system that have any multiplayer.

If your paying for it and can play multi-player games on live then you have gold. Also the background for yu name in some parts of the menus are that color.

Gold. I play lots of Multiplayer games though.

But as stated before, it's about what you have in your game library.

I'm gold. I play when I feel like it, which is to say some months I play a lot and other months I hardly play at all. In the big picture I'm probably wasting half of my Gold membership money by not using the product, but it's not a lot of money I'm spending to stay Gold.

Recently I have noticed that I keep buying these really cool Xbox Live Arcade games that I then play as multiplayer. There hasn't been anything interesting in the "big boys" market of Xbox 360 games for a long while, but that's not my problem.

Silver. I played a little online when I had a month's free gold but I found it too stressful. Much more fun to play with a small number of people you know. Edit: via link I mean. I'd recommend try a month before you sign up for the long haul.
