Google Instant [http://gizmodo.com/5632947/googles-streaming-search-results-eliminate-the-search-button] was announced today, and you can try it out right now, just go to Google search and start typing something and get instant results, realtime, as you type.
I think it's a simple and very beneficial change, proving they are still trying to perfect the way we search. I'm sure we'll see others follow along, but for now it's just another reason to use Google over any other search engine.
I like how they thought of and fixed what I though of as the first problem with this change. You don't want something really bad or nsfw to show up as you're typing out something like 'portland'.
