Google Instant [http://gizmodo.com/5632947/googles-streaming-search-results-eliminate-the-search-button] was announced today, and you can try it out right now, just go to Google search and start typing something and get instant results, realtime, as you type.

I think it's a simple and very beneficial change, proving they are still trying to perfect the way we search. I'm sure we'll see others follow along, but for now it's just another reason to use Google over any other search engine.

I like how they thought of and fixed what I though of as the first problem with this change. You don't want something really bad or nsfw to show up as you're typing out something like 'portland'. "pornography, violence and hate speech" will not show up when using Google instant. (yay? no wait, awww... :)

It works like they say so far. It's kind of neat.

I will rarely use it though as Google Search is already built in to Chrome.

Doesn't sound that useful, IMO. It might prove to be very distracting, seeing as results pop every time you type just a little bit.

Nope, I might like it if and this is my big problem with it, if it did'nt crash my internet explorer when I start typing.

Nazism: You are first impressions? No.

This is just more bells and whistles to me. I don't like loading crap without any decent reason other than "it looks fancy"

I'm sure you're used to this, but perhaps it's Internet Explorers fault? :)

But that's odd, I'm sure they'll fix it

I was about to say, "HA TAKE THAT BING" but Bing isn't Google's main rival anymore, while Microsoft were making plans on stomping Google's empire Facebook went ahead and did the unthinkable, it overtook Google as the number one website. Facebook by bypassing Google with permalinks to websites such as this one has beaten Google, also Facebook went and bought RockMelt last year which is a browser with built in search capabilities that use the latest updated page as the best search option, a clever little addition that no one else thought of!.

Google was finally caught with its pants down and this is a crazy little search number I heartily like!, more innovation for the masses?, hell yeah!, its like I'm Feeling Lucky but its always on.

Maybe it's not in my region yet, but Google is exactly the same when I tried it just now...

I assume it's not some other site address or anything.

Fairly useless to me because i have the google searchbar in m browser's toolbar, so going to the google webpage and searching still takes longer.

Nope, it's not just you. I noticed nothing different, and my search results didn't update automatically. I feel left out.

OT: Kinda pointless, because hitting enter takes me all of one second.

Not in my region yet, but watched the video and thought it was kinda cool. Don't really understand the point of it, but it's cool.

that saves time on me hitting the Enter key, meaning i can fully optimize the time i spend behind the computer, so it's definitely very good. Yes.
