It is more than a little discouraging when you feel like you are the last bastion of proper grammar against a horde of those who passed English with a 53% on their third try.

OT: I try and maintain a good grammar postulate. So people can understand what I'm saying. It's hard the other way around though.

Are you sure that's what you meant?

Grammar on the internet doesn't bother me very much. It varies wildly depending on where you are, though in most places it's pretty awful.

What actually bothers me the most, is the overuse of the phrase "grammar nazi." If someone corrects one misspelled word, especially if it's a complicated one, that does not make them a grammar nazi. Hell, spelling doesn't actually have anything to do with grammar anyway, grammar is all about the syntax.

I maintain my own standard far above the filth and depravity which is in effect below.
When you said "below," did you mean the people that were literally posting below you (I doubt it), or did you mean just a general statement for everyone else, as in they less worthy of recognition than you?

I usually try to do right by my language, but I can't be perfect all the time. It's the people who can't even tell what they themselves typed that bother me.

Have you actually been on YouTube? It's like taking a dump in a textbook, than burning it and than trying to decipher it. Need more options like "itz horible"
I fixed that for you.

Edit: Huh. Didn't realise this was necromanced (is that even a word? Fuck it, it is now).

I am astounded at the powers of NeckRomancy that dragged this thread up. None the less, I meant "below" in the sense of "Those with lower standards for their communication presentation than I have."

All this bad grammar talk remind me of countless voice chat "discussions" during COD.

Actually, thanks for fixing that. 4chan is actually fine in comparison to YouTube, as it's filled with Grammar Nazis of all sorts.

I don't venture into the depths of internet-grammar hell, I stay here, on this well kept site with people who know how, or at least try, to spell properly. I find it frustrating to read a post wiht por sepelig.

Yes, because most grammar is nonexistent. Like, "Their walking across the street." It sounds right, but it's not the proper use of grammar. So forth, it could be considered, "Non existent" because if doesn't make sense, like 2 divided by zero equals one. We get what your saying, but it not in the right format and a small error occurred. (No offence, if i caused any.)
