Considering that im the good guy, the paragon and the guy that chooses always the good option in a game I would give it up for Woman and children...I would do a Bear Grylls and make my own boat out of anything...

I would probably give up my seat, just because I'm fairly large, and they could fit two (or three small) people in the space I would take up.

Kind of my thought too. The difference between then and now is ships are required to have life boats for all of the passengers which is another reason I wouldn't give up my seat. It wasn't back in the days of the Titanic(actually it was the Titanic that got that rule into place).Ohhi said:

Unfortunately there is no option for "Other" or in my case "No, unless it was MY woman and/or children".
I guess that's not entirely accurate either. I can't honestly say I know how I'd handle the situation. If no child was in the immediate vicinity and it seemed obvious that I'd just be giving up my seat for more than JUST a child, I'd probably just save myself. If there was a literal forced choice between me and a small child, I would probably give it to the child, though in such a calamity, I can only imagine chaos ensuing everywhere, so such a choice is unlikely to occur.
I honestly don't see women as being any more or less important than me and I certainly wouldn't give up a seat for chivalry alone. For my love, I would, although I'm confident enough to say that she wouldn't leave me if it came to that.

I honestly don't know, because of course I've yet to ever be in a life or death situation. And of course being a woman or child would have nothing to do with it, I'd like to think that I'd give up a space to save anyone, but I also know that I would be more likely to for a child first, then a woman.

By Titanic standards I wouldn't be considered a child as they refused anyone older then 11. But as for today if someone asked if I could give up my seat I would go, "Fuck that I want to live I got here first!"

When 'shit hits the fan' I'd probably make decisions based on which kid should/has a better chance to survive.
