Well it was more of a personal reason. (Mainly becuase my brother throws temper tantrums every day so he smashed it on the floor.)

If I was an only child I would be on the orginal.

Yes but I opened it up and fixed it up, regrettably I forgot that this was a VERY temporary fix and it broke shortly after.

Bought a very cheap customized one though, which is an option certainly worth considering if you don't mind your 360 breathing like an angry asthmatic Darth Vader.

First 360 - Red Ring 3 times.

Second - scratches the hell out of disks to the point where they are unplayable

Third: Got E74, repaired now.

Nope, because I bought the Elite and immediately attached an external fan to it. Microsoft products will almost always work if you buy the most expensive itteration of it. Look at Vista. People bitched that it was buggy and useless, but that is because they bought Vista Home. Try Ultimate or Pro and there are no problems.

I've had one RRoD after a year or so, and then the replacement one never even started.
However, the third one has been thrown onto a brick patio by an enraged Mother, and it still works!

what did you do to get such rage, did you like, nuke her budgerigar or something?.

My power supply died, buy new one, new one doesn't work, remember I have dodgy grey import, order one from Taiwan... waiting.

1st one died from RROD(lasted a little over a year)
2nd one died from RROD and E74 error at the same time (lasted 2 weeks, but I got it used)
3rd one didn't die, but it won't read any discs (lasted 6 months)

I now have a Resident Evil 5 Limited edition Xbox 360 Elite.

Actually, it wasn't even me who got her pissed.
I think it was the middle brother.
He got really pissy with her one day, she already hates videogames, and so she did what she thought was reasonable.

on Topic, my dodgy Taiwanese Xbox360 has never bricked it, this is the first problem i've had, but its difficult to get a Taiwanese power supply, grrrrr.
