Negative, I'm a barrel chested, beard having, asian that often rocks a mo-hawk.

When I was a freshman in highschool, I got asked out by a lady who was a sophmore in college, after I told her I was a freshman. didn't secifiy which. Though it was fun..

Though when I was in Mexico, was asked out by two different guys, one hispanic the other white, because I was wearing a wife beater and a straw cowboy hat (think Toby Keith)
and once here in the states. I a gay frien I had who was drunk texting me....

I've got really long hair, like down to the small of my back. I also have dark lips but it's only ever been from behind. I let my facial hair grow out to feel more secure about it, though.: |

Yes, I'm growing my hair out and I was on my way to school for exams when some ten-year-olds called out "hey, you girl over there". I turned to them and as they saw my 'stache and goatee they backed off.

Well, I do have pretty long hair. In a ponytail that looks anything but feminine. And a rather angular face. And 195cm length to my name. And a voice that gets me asked whether I'm on medication, or just stoned.

And did I mention the goatee?

No, I don't think anyone sober ever wondered whether I was female.

Uhm, nope. lol. I've been called a boy before, but that's just because I was a huge tomboy when I was little.

Yep. It's mostly because of my voice, I don't really 'carry it out' and just speak at the lowest, most monotone voice I have.

In the 7th grade, I answered a math problem, and the kid two seats in front of me, when asked the same question, said "Yeah, what he said back there." He was met with laughter and an angry stare from me.

That's about the only time, actually.

This used to be a very common thing for me when I was about 13-14. In fact, I discovered by accident that were I to put my longish hair up I could immediately pass for a girl.

It's because of years of consistently being mistaken for a woman that I now have been equated to Gimli on more than one occasion.

I have been mistaken as a female a few times. The most recent was the school's receptionist calling me a she. The other time was this old woman coming up to me and asked me a question, "Little girl, what direction is the bus station at?" Perhaps I have a feminine body, but does skinny equal feminine? I don't know.

No because I don't look anything like a girl, I have short hair, broad shoulders, and am over 6 foot tall. It'd be pretty damn hard to mistake me for a girl.

When I was five or six, a store clerk called me "sonny." I was wearing jeans and a dark blue sweatshirt; and, while I had long hair at the time, it was braided back.

It hasn't happened since. Which is amusing, because I've actually played a male character in a skit (not that I have any illusion of it being convincing).

well, being a transsexual, i'm always mistaken for the opposite gender, even by my own family. once i start transitioning, though, hopefully people will stop mistaking me for a guy.

Nope. Although back in middle school, one kid said I sounded like a girl. I haven't really entered puberty at that point.

Not that I can remember, maybe when I was a kid.
I'm a girl and I have long hair and for some reason it seems to be hair that confuses people. I have a female friend with short hair who was mistaken for a guy a number of times but she definitely doesn?t look like a guy :?.

Opposite gender? No.

I have, however, been mistaken for a rock. No, I'm not even joking.
... are you like.... really really lazy or something? :/
I really have no god damned clue. It was a while ago, and all I really remember was me sitting outside wearing a grey sweater, and someone somehow mistook me as being a rock.
Did you inquire on their mental state? I would love to know the drugs they were on.

I do believe I've been mistaken for a girl, some of the whistling is what makes me think that, though look below and tell me if you see the girlishness.

I'm pulling the right face for such a question, which in turn amuses me...
