From the back: Yes.
From the front: No, I have a beard to counteract that.
It happened alot while I worked in a newsagents - partly due to my long hair and trim form, partly because people stereotype newsagent shop assistants to be female surprisingly often.

Yes.

I cut my hair short when I was 9 and for the next year and a half I was constantly mistaken for a boy. Once the gym teacher for the Swedish half of my school went to drag me out of the girls' locker room but my uncle (my teacher at the time) stopped him. -_-;

As an adult no. My boobs are too big =/

It's seldom happened online - if ever? Memory like a sieve - and I've never been treated badly because of my gender online, beyond blanket misogynism that's never been aimed directly at me.

Quite often, when I was younger. The combination of blonde ringlets, feminine features, and apparently exuding feminine charm and grace meant I was mistaken for a girl rather a lot. Even when I grew up and my hair darkened it happened until I was old enough to grow a decent beard, which I now never shave off for exactly that reason. And now it just happens on the internet, instead.

In real life? No.

On the internet? A lot, actually. I guess as far as girls go my voice is kind of deep so unless I'm trying to talk with a high octave, I get mistaken for a pre-pubescent boy on vent a lot. Meh. I'm used to it.

Also, if you play WoW everyone pretty much assumes you to be a guy. It comes with the territory.

It's probably happened a bunch of times but the most memorable one for me was a few years ago when I had long hair. I was out paintballing with some friends and someone on my team had to come up to me and ask me if I was male of female because they couldn't tell due to the hair coming halfway down my back and overalls and a helmet covering my other bodily features

Yep. Ounce over the phone and many times in real-life (having long hair really isn't good for quick gender identification). The time over the phone was when some sleaz-bag telemarketer asked if this was the "_____ family's lovely daughter" and i was incredibly tempted to just tell him i was boy and hangup, but my nice side wonover becuase i pitied him (only slightly though, even my nice wa insulted) and i told him that they weren't availible.

The other time i was mistaken for a girl was when some girl had a crush on me and had to one of her friends to ask me if i was a girl or a boy to make sure she wasn't a lesbian...it was awkward...

Everyone automatically assumes I'm a guy online and while playing online games, and if the subject ever comes up that I'm a girl, they assume I'm either fat, emo, or both. Really funny and sad.

From the back, perhaps.
Letting my hair grow long for the first time, and I am extremely skinny.
So womens XXS tops is all that will fit me...

But I only shave once a week, so yeah..... :O

Don't really care, never had a complaint either!

I've been mistaken for a transvestite and a girl. I once had a client's daughter (At the videotstore I work at) tug at her father's sleeve, point at me, and declare "Mon dieu papa! C'est Lisbeth Salander!" :p

People [footnote]always ones no-one likes actually :p[/footnote] have said I looked like a girl, but oddly recognised me straight away as a guy. The only genuine confusion that was not asses being asses was by an old woman once... I don't even know why she spoke to me...

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? Or am I wrong on that one? Although she was never described as being particularly feminine...
