In my early High School days, I went to a youth group.

One night, one girl calls Peter because I remind her of that character from the Narnia movie/book series...

and apparently I look like him, so imagine him as a 17 year old and thats me.

My best friend still calls me that rarely.

Long-neck or long-john because I'm tall.
Rodney by some who think I look like Rodney Trotter.
John "T" because my French teacher started calling me it and then it caught on with the people in that class.
Johnny Bravo. My name's Jonny, that's all really.
John Connor because of all the resistance, albeit passive, that I gave to the school's new administration, usually regarding uniform and being able to talk my way out of anything.
Wilko for my Rugby-playing abilities. Referencing Jonny Wilkinson.

Everyone else, who didn't have any real association to make, just used my last name.

A girl from my class used to call me "Fluffy" because of my fuzzy hair. Thankfully it didn't really catch on and she is still the only one who calls me that.
Your avatar is from Cracked and I still have no idea what it means >.> Explain please. And fluffy is a cute nickname :3

I go by my surname in real life, and by Gooball/Goo online

I've got a habit of never calling someone by their real name if I can help it, I am "that guy" who makes the names.

I have been called ''Flang'' for some considerable time. I have no idea where that came from. Since I moved here, I don't have that nickname anymore. After a while here, people started calling me ''Kieft'' (say: keeft). Again: no idea where it came from.

RJ. Those are my first and middle initials.

Also, Doc.. though I'm not exactly sure how that one came to be.

My parents called me Goose when I was a kid. I'm not exactly sure where that originated, either, to be honest.

Yes, the name I go by in everyday life is nickname derivative of my legal name.

One of my uncles also has a penchant for giving his nieces and nephews nicknames, so I'm also called Murphy among family.

I used to be called Nate Dogg in middle school for really no reason other than Nate being my name.

If a username counts, I've been Ty for years now online. Barely anyone calls me Nate around the web.

Several.

My first real nickname was Mini-Tall Howard. This was due to a friend of mine who was a grade above me in highschool. Though his name was Travis, people in his class referred to him as Tall Howard (Due to his height, though the meaning of the Howard part always evaded the two of us). He and I looked quite a bit alike one-another back then. Blue eyes, brown hair, we'd even been mistaken for one another by various people. Conversely, kids in my class thought of him as Big Ben (My name being Ben).

Then, when Grade 10 rolled along I began to wear a Che Guevara beret. Thus I earned the nickname Communist...if one can call how it was used a nickname. Conversely, some other people (Mostly girls, for some reason) called me Zombie, because I always wore black and occasionally sported Black Metal affectations.

Since then, I've also become known by Benji, Benito, Benjo and oddly, Kiddy.

just yesterday, a friend of mine decided that I should be called "The party princess of penis".
Care to elaborate on the origins of such a... unique nickname? I feel as though there is the potential for a great story here.

'The Other One' for being a twin. My co-workers call me 'Professor' because I'm a part time instructor at a nearby university... but they've been calling me that since they found out I have a higher education.
I get called 'Thorny' and 'Thorsie' by many people. Cuz my name is Thor. When I played sports and by some other officers I get called 'Anvil' cuz my surname is an anglicized version of the word anvil in another language. At this point if a person has a repeated difficult time pronouncing my surname I tell them to use Anvil since I respond to it.

Nothing terribly creative.
