I've back-handed someone before. A friend of mine got too drunk at a party and kept trying to get all touchy with me and I kept telling him stop then I finally back-handed him across the face >:3 haven't talked to him since lol

I was in the 8th or 9th grade when there was gang OK there were only 4 of them but any ways they would beat me up from time to time, then once one of them tried to beat me up by himself, that was a mistake on his part I broke his nose and some of his fingers, that is the most brutal thing I have ever done.

....Yes.... Although it didn't cause permanent damage or anything.

Still feel bad about it though.

Plenty times. I grew up in a rough place. Saturday night bar fights were very common, gangs and families stuck together . Until I moved away I thought that was the norm everywhere. It did teach me to defend myself and not be afraid of a scrap. It also taught me that only cowards use weapons and only cowards gang up on someone.

I remember before when I was very young I used to think that if I hit someone full force in the face it could kill them. Turns out if someone is ready for a box then 90% of the time they will be fine. (I know this from both sides)

I am a easier going now. But i think that while it was a harsh education it was a good one. I learned to stand up for myself and for others and not to run away. I think that everyone should be in at least one fight in their lives. Makes no difference if they win or lose but just for the confidence of standing up for themselves.

If you are a guy and have younger/older brothers it's almost guaranteed that you will fight with them at least once in your lives, so yes I have. I also got in a small fight at school once and got suspended for a week, but that's the only other time I can think of.

Also the poll is missing for me.

I've never hit or fought with anyone, and I hope to not have too, it's not in my nature.

I've been in quite afew fights in school. Grade 4-5 I jacked this kid in the nose because he wouldn't give back our mini sticks (mini hockey sticks), I had a real bad temper when I was young. Blood gushed out of him.

Grade 12 the farmer kids decided to take my hat and play keep away I didn't play along. Walked up to the biggest guy, challenged him to a fight. One of my punches was square in his eye. Next day when they brought me in to the office whoa what a shiner he had.

Yes. A while back when I was in Grade 8, I used to have to take the bus to and from school and this group of kids used to harass me on the bus. One day I guess I just snapped and punched the one kid square in the face. It was as much a surprise to me as it was everyone else. The way I remember it, one second I'm just sitting there trying to ignore the annoying fuckhead and the next I'm sitting there with my fist extended out in front of me and he's clutching his face in pain. On the plus side though, those annoying kids never bothered me again.

My memory of the event might be distorted because it happened so long ago, but I recall a time in kindergarten when some boy was bothering a friend of mine, so I punched him. I got in trouble and had to sit in the corner, and then I never punched anyone again.

Only with my brother when I was younger and he got me mad... I'm actually not that old yet though (under 18)....
Other then that (not that it would really matter anyway) I can't remember...

Yes, many people, although I've only been in one actual two-sided fight...and in that one I missed my punch (the guy ducked) and got punched in the face myself.

Not proud of a lot it though.

Punched a few people, two girls included, but every time except once it was provoked (i.e I was attacked first). Nothing I'm proud of, because fighting is lame overall, but it is the truth.

The first and last time I ever lost my temper Yes, I hit someone. then I kept hitting him until I was subdued. I'm told I was completely flushed red and frothing at the mouth. might have killed the bastard if there hadn't been enough of my classmates around to pull me off of him.

lets just say that this guy was a serious bully. he was about a foot shorter than me, and 50 pounds lighter, but I let him push me around for a couple of years. then he went a little too far and found out what happens when people snap.

Yeah, a few people, though not in recent years. My first few years of highschool were rough. That and this fellow tried to mug me and a friend once while I was fairly drunk. Despite his pulling a gun I snapped and wailed at him before my friend pulled me away....twas intense.

Oh yeah. I think being a pub goer in the UK requires that i'm eventually gonna have to hit someone.

Self defence only though, and it always hurts like a ***** afterwards unless I hit them in the stomach or throat. Especially if you go for a throat punch and they bring their chin down on it. Either way you're knocking them on their arse, but you'll push a knuckle out of place doing it.

It's actually pleasing winning a fight that someone else started with you, surprisingly. That always worried me slightly.
I've been going to pubs for some eight years in the UK and I've never had to throw a punch.
You need to find better (less chav filled) pubs.
Agreed wholeheartedly. Funnily enough, the one I actually go to is actually considered peaceful around here. I know a few I like to go in that have had only a few fights in the decades they've been around, but they're a good 30 minute drive from me so I rarely get a chance to go.
