I have learned so much about the subtle art of winning arguments by trolling, as long as you're not trolling... There's no winning to trolling, as that's not the objective, but you can learn some good 'ol skills. Not too much, but it's better than nothing.

Yeah, but it lead to being harassed by someone without a sense of humor. He was modded, I left the board (it was time to seek life elsewhere anyway), and now stick to doing so only anonymously so there are no hard feelings or silly juvenile grudges over trivial things being blown way out of proportion.

I trolled a bit when I was younger. Now I usually don't bother, but I've also been spending far less time on the internet in general.

I got banned from a forum for flaming a troll once. That was fun.

OT No, I haven't personally...also, as I'm more a lurker, I don't recall having ever really being trolled. I've had debates, sure, but they were always perfectly civilised and well thought out. At least in my opinion.

I know I have, but I can't remember any specific moments. I try to keep it good natured, though, and they're more like pranks or weird shit than actual flame wars.

None of them were on here(although I've done topics so stupid it's hard to tell).

I went through a trolling phase with omegle once, but was never that good at it. I've considered trolling some of those disneyland maniac sites in the past (just to piss of one of my siblings who is a disney nut) but decided against it. I wouldn't want people to troll this site, so why should I troll other peoples niches of interest?

I'm ashamed of it but yes. I used to run with a crew in L4D. Guy named Demecro, once my best friend, trash talked everyone. We used to pub stomp with a bunch of his friends, I trolled so hard. So many ragequits. I regret it. And Dem dissapeared about a year ago. It's all thanks to him I have 300+ hours and the skill I have.

Mostly just with my friends, only very, very rarely in the open internet. Often, it's actually not really on the internet at all, just a few people acting like total jerks to each other for the fun of it.
