Poll: Hax/Glitching: Right or Wrong?

Ok. i personaly hate people that use Hax or glitch, i think it just proves that you have absolutly no skill whatsoever in the game and have to resort to cheep exploits to gain the upper hand.

I dont care if u wanna use glitches in single player and ruin the expierence for yourself, but to all you hackers and glitchers out there...Stay the fuck out of multiplayer.

I say it's okay, because I don't have an absolute stance. In single player or friendly multiplayer, it's fine, just keep it offline.

If you're using glitches in single-player that's fine, but in multi-player it just ruins the fun for everyone.

It's a face giving the finger with both hands.

I don't have a problem with hacking or glitching in single-player, but multiplayer isn't fun for anyone, especially since you will get punished, and no one will play with you.

It hurts everyone involved, your friends, your family, your pets... think of the children... do it for the children. but on topic, hacking in single player is fine, but it makes the game too easy and quickly kills the fun, unless you rewrite massive amounts of data. Using hacks online... It should be punishable with spaying or neutering.

I assume you mean in MP in which case I hope they get stabbed in the jaw. If you want to do that crap offline of with friends that's your buiness. But if you do it in MP then you are a cheating prick and need to eat **** and die.

Exploiting glitches is just as bad. Do not even dare think it isnt. Unfair advantages whether gained externally (hacking) or internally (glitches) is wrong. Wanna mess around in a non competitive room? Fine, logn as you are not being a douche, but competitions should be untouched, and being a douche also is just wrong. (Looking at you GTA4 rocket modders)

I agree with the all hacks shouldn't be used in any games but in some games glitches really elevated the skill ceiling and overall improved the competitiveness of said game.

one that I can think of right now would be SSBM with its wavedashing.

Also Starcraft with the muta stacking glitch and all worker tricks.

Fortunately for me, I only seem to find people who actually try to mask the fact that they're hacking, like strapping instant death to any body part with a sniper rifle in Counter Strike or people who notch up their health a bit. they leave on their own if I point it out. nothing like people who fly and "exploded" everything

I frankly never use a glitch to my advantage..... unless I found it on my own

Thats a rare thing. Getting out of the map in Halo 3 was for the most part harmless, if anybody noticed you then you were screwed and you had a limited supply of ammo. If that wasn't enough the majority of useful glitches could only be performed in Forge, where nobody is affected other than you.
