Poll: Headset or Speakers?

Speakers, but mainly because ever since I got my cartilage pierced, I can't find headsets comfortable anymore. :/ Plus I kinda lose track of my surroundings with headsets...which is GREAT when you want that total immersion experience, but kinda sucks when your boyfriend scares the crap out of you all the time 'cause you can't hear him walk in the room.

...I get easily startled. ^^;

Speakers unless I need to talk, then the headset goes on so I can listen and reply, and yell warnings, 'the demo is a sp- oh sorry, too late!'

I have a 5.1 surround system on my PC so I use that for great sound in games, but I also have a headset for in-game chat

Headset. This'll probably sound really weedy, but I hate bothering people in my house with loud sounds/music. Even if they don't mind, I'd much rather keep it to myself than annoy people. Hardly typical teenage behavior.

Also, I prefer the way headphones sound a lot closer to you than speakers.

This. Also, it's much easier to get a virtual surround sound setup with a good headset then it is with a set of speakers.

I use both. Headset for chatting when gaming (though rare), speakers for all else.

I much prefer my headphones to speakers. I have speakers but never have them hooked up to my computer because I prefer the headset.

I can get the same effect as speakers as with a headset, but headsets dont take up as much space and dont disturb other people

I'm in a college dorm and consider myself a fairly considerate person.

Needless to say, I use ear buds almost constantly.

It's just a shame that my neighbors can't take a hint and own 4' subwoofers.

If i'm with friend i'll have it on speaker and headset so i can talk and so my friends can hear, but if on ym own i'll have just my headset.

Speakers, especially surround sound speakers. They sound really nice.
