...you could just call it "Forgery" or something like that. A pun title.LordSphinx said:Hello fellow Escapists!
I started my own video game studio and we are a team of 5 developing our first title for XBLIG/Steam. We're having a hard time finding a title for our project.
The game is about a sword that must be enchanted in many ways to become strong enough to be worthy of the King. It isn't focused on the story, the hero doesn't even have a name. It's really more of an exploration game in which there are many different possibilities of sword "builds", much like character builds in RPGs. The goal is simply to start a few different games and check how the different powers combine together and test out the results in a few dungeons.
The game has a working title, which is Swordcraft, and we'd rather not call it that for many reasons. But if it resonates more with our audience than anything else, we might keep it anyway.
So here you go, tell us what you think and if you have a better suggestion, please share it in the comments!
I agree with this. If it's a fruity happy looking game (like...castle crashers or that Halloween game form Double fine) Then it's going to have a COMPLETELY different name then a brooding dark fantasy game like Dragon Age.Dash-X said:Is there any art that you are allowed to show? Damn, ninja'd.Ulvai said:Drop "Sword". "Fit For a King" sounds nice.
You can look it up on our website, you can find us via facebook or google without too much troubles. I intend to comply by the forum rules so I won't post any link here though, sorry about that.Dash-X said:Is there any art that you are allowed to show?
