Call it S.W.O.R.D. but don't define the acronym (or initialisation), let the players decide what it means, as it could mean different things to different people.
You could also hide Easter Eggs in the game that could hint at the acronym (or be complete red herrings), for example 5 NPC hermits hidden around the world called Stephen, William, Oliver, Richard and David, or 5 scared animal statues depicting a Snake, a Wolf, an Ocelot, a Raccoon and a Deer.
People love good Easter Egg hunt and theories (even if they don't actually exist). It's like when Peter Molyneux said there was still at least one secret in Fable: TLC that nobody had found yet, people were playing the game for ages trying to find this secret and the message boards were alight with discussion and speculation.
If you manage to get a lot of people discussing and speculating about the true meaning of S.W.O.R.D. on message boards, then you'll sell lots of copies through world of mouth, especially if it's a cheap indy game that people would happily buy just to try and work out the puzzle and be the first person on the internet to "beat" the acronym.
