What do you think? I made it on bitstrips. This is about one of the 11 comics starring me, my imaginary girfirend and some generic guy. It is called Dublin Gamer. I think it could be passable.

I could make a comic about The Count of Monte Cristo, but that doesn't mean everyone would know what the crap I'm talking about.

Anyway, the art doesn't appeal to me and I don't find the humor particularly funny. A good tip for any comic (Internet niche strip or not) is to make sure that every time you make an obscure joke, you put ANOTHER joke in your strip which also works for people who don't "get" it.

See also: Dilbert.

Well, it isn't mine.

It's a site's artwork.

Pretty funny, stuff, actually.

Artist's tip though: try different ways to frame your strip. You don't need to show every character in full body, and doing so often means you have to obscure part of their body with speech bubbles anyway. Try different angles and different ways to arrange the characters on the panels to make it more visually interesting.

Keep it up, though :)

Didn't make jokes or artwork? Most of my post is directed at the joke structuring... The part I thought you said you did.

If you didn't make either, are you stealing it? I thought you said you made this.

I meant I used a comic generator. I made the humor and the characters

I'd suggest that you make some art of your own, 'cause otherwise you won't own all the rights to your own creation, on the off chance that you make it to the big time.

...Though, I'll be honest, I wouldn't hold out much hope of that. I don't see anything particularly brilliant about the jokes. The one-panel one was a bit better, though.

Well, the first one was just a tribute to the Workings of H.P lovecraft.

You probably do not know what a deep one is.
I'm gonna assume that because of the time you Brits have come out to play and your making jokes i don't comprehend. Is this cultural humor or just famous lines from an H.P. Lovecraft book put together in a certain way. Explain to the unenlightened American.

edit nevermind

Sorry didn't really tickle my funny bone. I generally prefer character based comedy to just the one liner or punchline kind of thing.
But keep it up if its what you wanna do, I'm sure it appeals to other people.

Also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't take people's advice on how to write your comic. You'll wind up trying to please everyone and end up pleasing no one, including yourself.

I'd just make a site, update the comics on a regular schedule, and then the people that like your sense of humour will flock to the site eventually.

Im an unenlightened American. I dont even, this comic makes no sense. What the hell is a deep one? AAAAHHHHH MY HEAD HURTS
H.P. Lovecraft is one of the most well known horror authors ever. I have never read any of his books, that i know of, but i do know some references because Stepeh King loves H.P. like a fat kid loves cake. I don't know exactly what a deep one is or what it looks like, but Stepen King mentions it in one of his books, took a lot to remember that. Oh an Oblivion makes a reference to it in one of the sidequests.

Deep one=monsterous abomination from what i guess.... with a fishhead.

Oh no, I know that. I'm well aware of what a "deep one" is... I just don't think the joke's that good.
