I don't get the first one.... at all.

You probably do not know what a deep one is.

I'm gonna assume that because of the time you Brits have come out to play and your making jokes i don't comprehend. Is this cultural humor or just famous lines from an H.P. Lovecraft book put together in a certain way. Explain to the unenlightened American.

Im an unenlightened American. I dont even, this comic makes no sense. What the hell is a deep one? AAAAHHHHH MY HEAD HURTS

H.P. Lovecraft is one of the most well known horror authors ever. I have never read any of his books, that i know of, but i do know some references because Stepeh King loves H.P. like a fat kid loves cake. I don't know exactly what a deep one is or what it looks like, but Stepen King mentions it in one of his books, took a lot to remember that. Oh an Oblivion makes a reference to it in one of the sidequests.

Deep one=monsterous abomination from what i guess.... with a fishhead.

Also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't take people's advice on how to write your comic. You'll wind up trying to please everyone and end up pleasing no one, including yourself.

Sound advice. If they don't like it, forget them. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying critisism isn't good since it helps you improve, but don't listen to those who say to completly change it to how they want it. It will stop being yours then.

On a side note, i congradulate you for actually create a comic strip. I've been trying for the past 3 weeks and still have yet to hammer one out, mainly due to laziness and bad jokes, plus it's a pain to draw a comic strip only to stop halfway through and scrap it cause it looks horrible.
