Do you like them or hate them? I love their music but their attitude gets on my last nerve. I had a little tiff with my RA who is a hipster and wondered what your opinions are on this group of douche bags people?

Well for me, it's the group of high minded arts students in college who look down on everyone, wear the exact same clothes (skinny jeans, cardigans) and are quick to dismiss any film/book as unintellectual if it's in anyway watchable/readable.

This thread clearly demonstrates that the definition of hipster varies from person to person and basically just means "people who I personally don't happen to like for whatever superficial reason that I think is important". I therefore don't think it's possible to have a meaningful discussion about this issue.
