Allaince. Humans and Night Elves are both boring, but Dwarfs are awesome, Gnomes are funny and Drainei (sp?) are just plain weird in there own cool kind of way.

I've played horde side a few times and could never get into it. None of the races felt right to me. Tauren are just about the ugliest race in WoW by far. Orces arn't much better. Trolls don't feel right to me, mostly because I feel like trolls should be huge and muscler rather than skinny. Undead are pretty cool, but not great. And blood elves...oh god, don't even get me started on blood elves.

They gank, corpse camp, and prevent the horde from completing their PVP-quests (they could just wait two minutes for the horde to take Hellfire Ramparts and take it back when they leave, but nooooooo, they have to fly in on their epic mount and kill everyone that shows an eyebrow. Doesn't matter that they're 15 levels higher and therefore get NOTHING from killing us, they have to use their lvl80 huntard to bitchslap us all over the map and follow us when we respawn).
All the adults go Horde. We play the game like adults, talk like adults, and let the Alliance take the PVP objectives temporarally when they need them. I've seen a lvl80 swoop down at a capture point (PVP off) and sit amongst a group of lvl64s while they took it. Once they'd captured it, he turned PVP on and "/shoo"ed them. THAT'S class.

Odd, it is quite the opposite on my server, where the horde seems to have nothing better to do than run around at level 80 and be an inconvenience to alliance players of much lower levels.

Hey Everyone. I have been playing an alliance paladin for 2 years, i'm in a nice guild but i dont raid and im getting really bored. i have the epic mounts, the pvp gear, the profs, the titles but im really bored. I rolled a hunter the other day on the horde side and im having a great time so far (im level 48) but i feel guilty about ditching the alliance. I just want an honest answer, i love both sides and i cant choose so can you please just tell me which side i should be playing?

Wow. I just noticed this post. Knowing usual Horde players I meet and hear talk about themselves, I'm positive he isn't even a troll.
Get over it. If there is something one faction has done before, the other has too.

Whenever i roll a new character, I just look at what racials suit my class best. I rolled a troll hunter for the ranged weapon crit chance and have an 80 human lock for the spirit buff. But i like best sides, they both have their goods and bads.

Honestly, in the short time I spent playin WoW I discovered that most of the Alliance was made up mostly of people who had poor social skills, were immature, or were just plain cocky, arrogant, or stupid. Or, you know, they were just small children with no parental supervision.

Go Horde.

Play a different fucking MMO altogether.

Aw, man, I'd love to do that. I'm already annoyed enough that I have to switch characters to get to my two favorite cities (Ironforge and Orgrimmar). Playing a neutral faction would be awesome...and it might mean I'd finally be able to speak multiple languages, or make my characters trade items and money across faction lines (without resorting to asking for help).

I here Age of Conan is good this time of year.

The only problem with Conan is it takes a week to update and by that time there are even more updates out so it takes a week more and so on. But everyone I'm gonna go horde even though I only played on a private server, the Alliance were still bastards.

Hey, good point - What about the Broken Front? Horde just attacked the Alliance soldiers there. From behind. When they were fighting Scourge.

This isn't a betrayal a la Wrathgate. This was Horde soldiers being ordered to turn on people who were fighting the Undead.

How can you Hordies defend that, eh?
