In my GCSE days I was a procrastinator, getting away with A grades on no studying and essays handed in minutes after completion on the deadline, but I found that in A levels it just doesn't work - revision must be done, and work must be thought out if you want to get 4 A grades at the end of the year.

Most people identify themselves as procrastinators, but how bad is it for you?

Bad? I'm great at it. Really, I procrastinate like a champ. Hell, even now I'm putting off having to leave the house on a cold cold autumn evening for very important business by typing some marginally relevant things in some forum...

I intended to post here 2 hours ago, but then I went to check my email and saw some spam about some new mmorpg and that reminded me that I haven't played one in a long while so I started to look for some cool ones but then I stumbled upon a site with all those cool old games to download so I began looking for Abuse because I really enjoyed that game back in the days but I couldn't find it right away so I began googling random titles on the list to see if one of them was any good and one of my google searches led me to an Escapist review, so here I am.

Question answered? ;)

Supposed to writing a short essay on the antigenic shift and drift of influenza, using some references I'm meant to have read from pubmed. It's due to be in tomorrow. So I'm here answering this question.

In my defence, I would be doing it if I could find the CD that supposedly came with Molecular Biology of the Cell, because they were cheap and didn't include the chapter on pathogens in the actual printed copy. Dicks ¬_¬

I had to write an essay in one night. I had started opened word processor at 7 pm. I didn't start writing till 5 AM. There was some serious procrastination in between.
I did this exact thing, times and all, last night. I bought some caffeiene pills about an hour ago and took two (Recommended limit). So far, nothing's changed except that I now have a headache. It feels like my head is full of fuzz and that it's also been shaken about like a fizzy-pop drink and ready to burst.

These little pill-c**ts were supposed to be my trump card...

Edit: I recommend you only buy a small packet as a tester if you're perchance considering them!

I just finished one of my term papers. When's it due? In two hours and fifteen minutes.

I've done worse, though. Last year I handed a term paper in two weeks after the semester ended. Needless to say, I got an F.

I procrastinate one week at a time, though I'm trying to work on a philosophy that lets me have all the fun stuff at the end but I've not had the time.

Oh, I am a terrible procrastinator.
That could be misconstrued as you being terrible at procrastinating. Just saying.

OT: Had a 400 page book to read for today for school, had over 2 weeks to do it, I read 2 pages. Have a test for tomorrow yet I'm just about to start Skyrim up (and yet I'm an all A student). I hate when anything is unclean, yet I can't make myself clean my own room. I haven't visited my dentist for over 2 years now (my teeth are fine, had a mandatory check 2~3 months ago, but it wasn't my dentist and it was mandatory (Department of redundancy department * smiley face *)).

What else... hrm, what else... Meh, can't think of anything else, though I'm thinking this is enough. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go procrastinate a bit more.

Yeah I've always been pretty bad at being productive. Like right now, I have a HUGE to-do list before the end of the semester and here I am instead. And even though I realize this, I'm not going to start working on anything for at least another hour.

I have a major case of senioritis going on.

I used to be really bad for procrastination because for studying I use my laptop (essays etc) but its so easy to go on facebook, games, news anything that isnt studying. I downloaded a free program called StudyBuddy which you can use to block distracting websites and programs for a specific study time. Its defo worth checking out if you are a big procrastinator. studentstudybuddy

I used to be awful with procrastination. During my first year of college, I wasn't revising properly until the day before some exams. Plus the fact that I had a girlfriend at the time who wasn't exactly encouraging revision, I did pretty badly.

Got my act together the second year, and had a girlfriend who made me revise, so I did a lot better.

It's all down to willpower, revision and work is. It's difficult!
