According to WolframAlpha [http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=Jacob], my name is the most common name. I don't know anybody outside my family with the surname Ingold, though.

my name isn't very common, and the spelling is even less common. most people spell it wrong or say it incorrectly on the first try.

According to How Many of Me 'Melissa' is the 66th most popular first name which is ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT. I have yet to meet another person with the first name Melissa. My middle name is actually pretty rare though. It's also a boys name but whatever.

Apparently there are 256 other people with my first and last name, so my last name must be pretty common.

...Has any out there ever met more than one 'Melissa'. I'm pretty sure it's a fairly rare name.

"Statistically the 119th most popular first name."
"There are fewer than 116 people in the U.S. with that last name"
First name is Jonathan.

Well I believe Andrew is quite a common name, hell one of the people (I think it's the Art Editor or something in Gamesmaster magazine has the same forename and surname as I do.

Friggin' ALEX, i know at least 10 Alex's personally, i share it with more than a handful of video game characters and most people here will know at least one themselves. Then most people wonder why i go under a nickname.
Hello there...
*smiles*

Alex here, or Alexander for the long version (not preffered), and if you call me Alexandra i will kill via spork-based methods.
And it's pretty common.

However if i was actually called sizzle montyjing i would win this thread on rarity levels.

Xaio? Everyone seems to think it's Chinese for some reason. My parents just named me something they thought sounded good.

I like it though. It makes me sound like an Evil Wizard?.

I've never met anyone that has my first name. I've Heard of people with their last name being my first name but it's NEVER their first name. I also have a last name that is, I'm pretty sure, Norwegian for 'village'.

And before you ask, No I'm not going to say what my name is. Why? Because I'm paranoid like that.

There were enough "Sarah"s in any school I went to that it became habit to tell them apart by last initial, nickname, or some other thing that set them apart from the others.

First name (Chris) I know of a fair few. Don't know anybody with my middle name (Glen) as either given, middle or family name, and although my surname is quite rare globally, there are a few I've heard of in the south west of England sort of area - which, conveniently, is where I'm from.
