Depends hugely on the beverage: Beer and fizzwater I prefer from the can, milk and water i prefer from a glas and coffee and tea is best served in a cup, as far as I'm concerned.

Depends on the drink. If there is ice in it then I prefer through a straw otherwise straight from the cup.

My preferred drink is a can of Pepsi poured into a glass with a lot of ice cubes.

I'm very particular about it being a can, Pepsi, and a glass, not a cup.

Something about a plastic bottle of Lemonade as the first swig hits your tastebuds is a little slice of heaven.
After that, it's just an average bottle o' lemonade, so I do that, then glass it.

Reinforced pint glass for tea, they break easily with hot things.

Can. And preferably I need to sitting down and relaxing as well, so I can drink it in peace. Can't stand walking around with a can, if I'm going to walk around I'd rather have a bottle.

Also, am I the only one that gets pissed when waiters/waitresses give me a straw just because I'm younger and they don't think I'll bother to put my lips up to the glass?

From the bottle/ glass in which said drink originates. Yes, this means I drink my milk and juice straight from the carton. Granted, I will use a glass if there is a chance I could be caught drinking from the carton. As for soda, I drink that straight from the can/ bottle.

I picked 'cup without straw' but to elaborate (why not) I would prefer a glass.

In fact, the perfect drink for me probably has to be an ice cold glass bottled coca cola which is then poured over ice into a glass. It just tastes so amazing.

Or, as its winter and there is now snow, a mug of hot chocolate. Neros makes the best, because it is like drinking hot chocolate syrup drools

Glass. Coke in a glass tastes so much better than from the can. So does beer.
Milk in a glass? Perfect when compared to a cup.

Hell, my tea and espresso "cups" are made of glass. I love my glass. Everything tastes better from it.

If it's a soda, I usually pour it into a vintage Coca-Cola glass that I have, or I pour it into a 30 oz tankard thing I have that doubles as being awesome for boose.

Sodas/energy drinks: Glass bottle > Can > Glass
Alcohol: Glass > Glass bottle

If I'm drinking pop, I have not preference other than "Not poured out of its container." I like my cans/bottles better than drinking from a glass.

If I'm drinking in a bar, I prefer Tap/Draft, than bottle, than a can. Simply because (maybe it's just me) but it Draft beer tastes better than bottled, and bottled tastes better than canned.

Though I'm not too picky either way.
