Pre 16 = smart
Pre 18 = smart and restrained
Post 20 = unfortunate

Due to abstaining until finding someone "special" rather than a fling = wise
Due to abstaining until marriage = foolish

Pathetic when they keep making threads about virginity.

If they can live with being a virgin, they won't be one for long.

I have no ill will towards virgins by any means.

In fact, the only specific feelings I have are empathy for the frustrated ones and pity for the promise ring ones.

But to say it doesn't make a difference whether you are virgin or not would be doing a great disservice to the awesome, psychedelic, wonderfultabulousness that is sexual intercourse.
Seriously. Sex is SO MUCH FUN.

SO
MUCH
FUN.

A status that needs to be lost.

Oka, no, I'm joking. Seriously, it depends on age.

1-15: I would certainly hope so.
16-21: Going for the bad girl look/was drunk
22-35: Hasnt met the right man yet (starting to look sorta pathetic if thats your only reasoning)
36+: Nun

I view them as me. Because I am one.
Same here. I didn't know people viewed us differently. XD
Another virgin here. Whee~

I do not view virgins in any specific way.
Out of the people who've posted, only five feature anime-themed avatars; four of those have confessed to being virgins. I think we've spotted a corrolary (oh boy oh boy)!

As for how I view virgins, I consider their opinions on relationships to be irrelevant unless they give me a very good reason to think otherwise.

Well, seeing as how I am one... I'm perfectly fine with virgins. I picked the second option: I'm just 18, and "will get some eventually". I figure it will happen sometime before I graduate, but I'm in no rush. When it happens, it happens.

25 years old here, had a few opportunities, but, well, enough along those lines.

It's a part of life that we've been exempt from, but besides what movies tell you it's nearly impossible to tell active individuals from inactive ones. Hymens beside (absence of which doesn't always mean something), until there's a conclusive way to tell the presence of experience from the absence of it, there's no point in seeing them as any different from anyone else.

As someone who just hasn't had sex?

I don't see the need for there to be any more to it.

I kind of do judge virgins, based on age. When I meet someone of either sex who's a bit older and still a virgin, it's either because they're religious (yes, they get judged for that) or they just haven't been able to form a close, romantic relationship with another human being in their lives. Perhaps that's because they just haven't met the right person, or find themselves disinterested...but it will stick in my mind. I'm talking people aged, say, 24/25 and above here. Though if I'm being totally honest it would be a little strange sleeping with a virgin of my own age also (21), just because I'd feel like I had a total upper hand.

Also, the reason that male virginity is looked down upon is because men are always shit the first time they have sex. The woman's not going to get a major kick out of it, no matter what they do. Female virgins are (or so I am reliably informed) 'tight' and interested in the whole act, and the length of said act won't depend on when they come.

Virgin by choice or nerds? Theres a big difference between the two.
The former? Good for them but they don't know what they're missing.
The latter? I pity you. (and they still don't know what they're missing).
Referring to 'have you ever tried'?

Nope... granted I'd rather be a virgin than be with some of the disgusting excuses for 'alive' on this planet.

If you can really find no reason why willed ignorance is not in some cases virtuous, please promptly go to the nearest rail road and lay down on the tracks until you are no longer ignorant of what it feels like to have multiple tons of steel plowing into you.
Perhaps I stated that a bit too broadly. There is a big difference between suicide and denying oneself of one of natures greatest carnal pleasures.

There is also a difference between outright denial and waiting for the right moment. There are those of us, like myself, who simply want to wait until it's with a special person. I find it interesting you label this as "pretentious."

Nothing wrong with being a virgin. We were all (hopefully) virgins at one time. I can understand why some people would want to save themselves for marriage, but personally, I feel that as long as it's someone you trust and care for, there's nothing wrong with sex (though I'm sure I'll change my tune when my first daughter is born), and if it doesn't happen, or you feel you're not ready, that's fine too.
