It's not terrible, to be honest. You get used to using the right amount of pressure and so on.DonSolo said:You must get awful razor rash.IamQ said:I just use a normal razor. I don't use any kind of gel or foam though, because I'm lazy like that.

I did this once as a joke in work since the guidelines on facial hair for the kitchen are kind of vague I figured I'd have a laugh with my facial hair as I'd keep to a non piss taking and hygienic level it'd be gone after a week. I have done the Lenin, the creeper 'stache, the Freddie Mercury and a few others.Vern said:I use a three blade razor. I tried using an electric razor, and I don't know if it was just dull out of the box, but it felt like it was pulling the hairs out rather than cutting them. I tried it three times and I got a rash each time, so I stick with blades. I'd highly suggest the mach-3, I've been shaving both my beard, and head with them for eight years, and aside from a few scalp nicks early on they work very well. It's a nice smooth cut, and no irritation. Thinking about it, maybe I should go back to the Lenin look.
