apparently low fat chocolate milk is good aswelll cos it has more calories and it tastes pretty good too....axia777 post=18.73614.807467 said:I am 6' 2" and 210. I life weights so that is good for me.
And screw the BMI index. It is all messed up. By the BMI Arnold Schwarzenegger is fat and over weight. Do not trust it.
Milk is actually one of the best sources of protein when lifting weights. If you drink a lot of milk just start lifting some weights. Milk puts pounds on the muscle FAST.BudZer post=18.73614.807152 said:I'm 5'8 and 139 pounds and not much is muscle...I owe my fat not to junk food but to a milk addiction. When I was little, I thought milk was x10 as beneficiary as water, and drank 2% to access, to the point where I'd have half a gallon a night.
That is defiantly true. Drinking after a weight lifting season is actually better then drinking things like Gatorade.DND Judgement post=18.73614.807477 said:apparently low fat chocolate milk is good as welll cos it has more calories and it tastes pretty good too....axia777 post=18.73614.807467 said:I am 6' 2" and 210. yeah, BMI only really works for sedentary or lazy people. Once you start weight training and putting on hard muscle, using BMI to calculate how "right" you are is going to give you wonky numbers.Robert0288 post=18.73614.807611 said:The website says I have a bmi of 25.1, so I guess Im over weight, but I'm at the gym 3 times a week, and run 2 miles in less than 14min. So its more muscle mass than fat.

We should start a club, man. It's be full of thin, handsome looking guys who're gonna enter their thirties and be bloody suprised at the gut they just got, and all we'd need to do is just stand around and look smug.SomeBritishDude post=18.73614.807157 said:I eat so, so much and Im still a little underwieght

I like the term lean, sounds more sporty than thin.
In my case, I've got a Wii Fit, and every morning it says to me, "You're obese!" Thanks, I love you too. But the good news is, I'm getting thinner! When a little kid looks at you and says, "Gee, you're fat!" then you gotta face it, you're fat.
