Incidentally, the US version of higher education where you can take major and minor subjects sounds so much more interesting than what we do in the UK.

I'm at the college student level officially, I never finished my associates degree before entering the real world. Financial reasons.

Truthfully though I don't tend to be smart in any practical way (key word practical).

A man can't usually be a fair judge of his own intelligence or learning.

I have my Associate's Degree in Music and at the end of this year I will have a Bachelors Degree. After that I'l work for a bit (Teach/Gig) then I would really like to do my Masters.

Associates in General IT focusing on networking. Currently taking my A+ exam while it is still lifetime. Then its back to other certifications (MCDST, MCSA, Cisco, ect)

I got my bachelors in Arch. Technology... but I decided to go for a course in Film production nearly done mah first year. Much nicer than that last course aye?

I'm doing my end of school exams for secondary school, or as you crazy Americans call it, High School.

I'm destroying myself with the stress, but whatever.

I would like to major in History and Politics, but I'll probably just end up working some shit job for the rest of my life.

Incidentally, I left school last year, so I'm doing the exams by myself. I'll still be able to get into college though.

Maaan... Ill tell ya. The way the leaving cert is handled is atrocious. I'll tell ya, you can more than definitely get into manymany courses with PASS levels on everything (wish i had that insite... but nnoooo stupid teacher wanted me to make me 'work to my full potential' -.-)... And passing higher math isn't that hard... Just learn to do the simplest parts of each question and that's it ^^

Seeing as my topic-starting-fu seems weak, and my previous poll decided to not actually *have* a poll for reasons mysterious, I have tried again.

I'm curious about how educated the Escapist-using public is. Most of the people I associate with offline are all college-educated professionals, but when you get online, you meet a vast cross-section of people. So, I was wondering how much formal schooling we Escapists have.

I'd love to know what major you are/were, too, if you're willing to divulge. If you're not in college yet, then obviously you don't have a major; instead, if you're planning going to college, what do you want to major in?

Oh, and I figure, if I'm asking, I should divulge myself:

i'm working on my bachelor of arts in vocal music. but i'm an english lit minor, so that requires a fair amount of educating (if by educating, they mean "read fourteen chapters and write me an essay by tomorrow, mmkay?" >.<).
