Only had one so far. A friend hooked us up. Fell fast and hard for each other. Moved to fast ended after a month. Was great while it lasted. Oh and a month after dumping me she was dating/moving in with a 15 year old kid and his parents. The were engaged to each other after like 3 months. She ended it after like 6-7 months. Oh did I mention that she was 23? Yea. I personally learned the whole "Don't stick it in Crazy" shit. I got lucky this time. XD

0. I'm not actively seeking a relationship but I hate the idea of "my porn doesn't judge" or whatever, if the situation arose I'd go for one but in the meantime I'm fine as is.

I'm 25 and have been in 7 relationships, in addition to a long-term friendship that included sex. And a different one that was shorter-term. (Shortest official relationship was 2 months, longest was 3 years.)

Not planning on getting into another one for a while, though. Not until I'm sure it's the right one.

(Captcha: "Chuck norris." Oh God, when will he go away.)

I've had Six serious relationships, (still in the sixth) and though I cannot say that none of them had terrible moments, I still love and are friends with most of them. They've all taught me something about myself and life, good and bad, and I wouldn't change or erase any of them. My boyfriend now has been my best friend for 10 years now and given my experience and prior relationships it's given me a basis for the most natural and amazing relationship I've ever had and still have.
Best friend for 10 years before becoming your boyfriend? or counting the time he has been your boyfriend? or some third option I haven't thought of?

Either way this seems to give credence to the friends before relationship thing.

10 years before we got together and I think I may have been the only one to have been surprised. It's a very abstract and fulfilling relationship based on honesty (brutal or otherwise), love and understanding. I still consider him my best friend now as well.

I've been in 3, 2 serious ones. I'm actually planning on asking this girl out on a date tomorrow, so hopefully something will come of it :D. Too many one night stands/flings for me, I've calmed down

It seems in the friend-to-relationship transition there is always one who is suprised by it all (assuming that's what you meant)

All the 0's make me sad :(
I'm pretty surprised as well. 1/3 of the demographic is pretty substantial. I guess the stereotype is true in this case.

Twice with the same person. We were good friends for a while (that's sort of my policy now, be good friends with someone for a while to keep from accidentally dating because of novelty) and our first break up was very clean, went at it again a year or two later, and then we broke up because "she didn't want the drama to ruin our friendship" (see- she's one of those people who dates because of novelty and there were too many new people). Then she moved and I learned from the experience and it was fun while it lasted, but I'm glad that phase of my life is over. It was a pretty bad one outside of the company.

And if we ever see each other again, now we'll both be of legal age, and since there are bound to be some feelings left...

Technically I've been in 4 but I only count 2. The first two were just being overly flirty with a friend and they didn't last more than a week or two.

17 and been in one, last one ended awfully. It's a pain that I still need to see her face everyday at school...
Think I shall wait a while before starting up my next one

I'm 18 and I'd say 3, my first one in year 6 didn't really count. Currently in a 9 month old relationship and it's going fairly well.

One and that only one was a BIG mistake.
Good thing I ended it otherwise I would turn into a bad person.\

Someday I shall meet the ONE!

You know, I think it would be better to just let you have whatever opinion you want to have of me and move on.
Yes, clearly the one judging people unfairly is me.... you must tell me where you bought your anti-reality shield.
Clearly we both are wrong in different ways. We don't live in that kind of society. Don't want to hear another persons opinion something if it happens to be negative. Want to think the other person is just trolling and then we can assume we are right. To think, one day anti-reality shields will be made and it will be mandatory to own one.
no man, its just you that's wrong. I don't really agree with Phasmal or any women on escapist that much, but you make it sound like the primary purpose for relationships is for women to suck the money from you and for you to fuck them, that's wrong. Plain and simple.

2 internet relationships. 0 real life. 17 years old. I can really only think of 2 or so people in real life I'd even have a chance with that I'm attracted to, considering I'm a short (5'4") and skinny guy.

Even then, having a cleft lip and palate, no matter how fixed it is, really doesn't help in the being attractive department.
How do you define "have a chance with?"
Well...I suppose I mean that I really am of a small build. I guess a better way to word it would be that there aren't many girls in real life that I'm attracted to of a similar build. Since most girls want a taller guy and whatnot, it kinda lessens my chances. I'm also not much of a stunner with the way I look, though I attribute that to the whole cleft lip and palate thing. No reason to lose confidence though.

Depends how you count one really. I've had 2 official girlfriends, one unofficial (aka using the logic of nuh-uh we never said so so it doesn't count), a few dates that didn't work out and the one that got away.

Captcha: that's right. Woah.

EDIT: I'm 21, 22 this year.

I'm 16, and I've been in two "real" one's. First one ended because I was basicly just a slab of meat used for sex to her, and the second one was head over heels for me (#swag), and eventually got weird and annoying.
