Poll: How often do you wash your hands?

Im quite lazy with it really which is kinda gross but..meh.

I usually do it after I use the bathroom but thats just a quick splash under the tap without soap most of the time..unless something unfortunate happens..like I get pee on my hand which Im glad to say isn't a regular occurrence.

If I've handled raw meat or touched something disgusting or if they visibly need to be washed I'll wash them thoroughly with soap and everything.. Its kind of weird because im so fussy about personal hygiene with nearly everything else except for that.

When I have done something to dirty them, not needed to be visible but if I know I've gotten dirty. + After being to the bathroom.

Being mildly OCD and a germaphobe, I wash my hands A LOT.

The same goes for me, except I'm an icky-stuff-ophobe. I always tell people "I'm not a germophobe. I'd get a nervous breakdown if I touched dog poop even if the dog poop was sterile."

Not obsessive per say but maybe 10 times a day? If i've been opening a lot of doors for whatever reason, after a smoke, bathroom, food preparation, after using the computer, petting my dogs. Idk anytime I think i'm getting bacteria on my hands I tend to clean them.

Doors and keyboards are a big thing cause they're not in any way shape or form clean.

I wash them quite often these days mainly when I'm going to have lunch or dinner and after (if the meal had me using my bare hans like pizza or sanwich), peeing and including simply getting ice cream out of the freezer. In saying so I just pour water onto them, not using the soap.
Granted I didn't used to wash them quite frequently, I guess I started to think my past illness (bowl related annoyance) was link to hygiene so I decided to wash more often.

I went with option 4. And even then, most of the time they're just cursory washes. Sure, I understand the importance of it. But whatever harm my unwashed hands could do to me has since been mitigated and adapted to by my immune system.

Whenever I come home from University. I study in a hospital. a Hospitalic university if that makes sense . Or whenever I have been outside, gone to the bathroom. Always before I start cooking. Plenty actually.

I am not saying theres no point to washing hands ofc their is, but lets also remember the human race got through the first couple of hundred thousand years thanks to the immune system and not domestos (its a big cleaning brand over here)

well mostly it wont kill you but its just useful to wash your hands and stuff so you dont run around with diarrhoea 90% of the time

OT: I wash my hands mainly after going to the loo and before cooking with food, there the only times I actually do remind myself to do it.

Hmm, let's see - when I go back home, after I go to the bathroom, when I go into the kitchen (not if I just pass through or go get a glass of water but when I intend to do something more than that), during cooking (multiple times, probably), after dealing with something dirty, for example while cleaning. Very basically, whenever I feel I'll be handling something clean, or after handling something (more obviously) unclean.

I have a shower pretty much every day so I only wash my hands specifically only when I know they need to be washed.
So if they have visible dirt, been to the bathroom, preparing a meal, handled raw food etc

Wash every time with soap after the bathroom, when handling food sometimes with soap other times just water. Whenever I take out the rubbish, when I play the guitar (before and after) and sometimes just when my hands feel dirty (like sweaty or something.)

I'm slightly neat freakish.

Pretty much with appropriate reason to wash my hands, so option 4.
I won't wash my hands less often than I need to,
but I can't wash them excessively because the soap will dry out my skin.
