As a 21 year old male I'm 5 foot 6 inches. I really really hate being short.

Please... PLEASE stop putting all your posts in red.
It does not make them more captivating, it makes them make eye-sores.
I have noticed that literally all your posts have been done like this. I am sure that it is actually in the guide-lines somewhere that you shouldn't do it. I have seen someone get a mod-edit or a warning for it... long time ago.

I am around 178-179cm. A category not all that far from the centre of the bell-curve... I am insulted. Get rid of your 2 silly options and put genuinely useful, intermediate steps in.

I voted 180-190 because I am VERY close to that, and for a South African, am above average.

I'm about 5'9, meaning I'm tall enough to reach things and taller than most girls, but shorter than a fair proportion of guys, which is nice, I wouldn't like to bend down to kiss someone. That would be kind of awkward.

All in all, I'm quite pleased with my height.

179 cm (speaking of which, where's the 170-180 option?). About average height for men where I'm from, and roughly 10 cm taller than the average female. And yeah, being a giraffe woman isn't always fun, but it could've been worse. Also, what part of the world are you from where normal ranges from 140-160 cm? Lilliput?

Whew...(!) Despite being as tall as I am... most of the guys I know are taller... and most of the girls are close to as tall as me (relatives notwithstanding)... it's all rather intimidating...

Six foot two and blue eyes.

I'm nearly the baby of my family though. Aunt is 6'6(198); Uncle is 7'4(225) and a police man.

Ha...(!) one of the guys I work with is six-two, and he's the shortest in his family. His sons are between six-six and six-eleven, his daughter is six-three and his wife is a smidge taller. Think his dad was about six-five as well, before he kicked it.

I'm 188 centimetres according to my license. If nothing else at least I'm decently tall. I like it. My shorter friends complain about their height plight(hehe) on a weekly basis, glad I don't have to worry about that at least.
