This is what we do. Ok.
it is common knowledge that everyone around the world has their own political preference (we talk about them on hear often enough)
So ive come up with a way to please everyone.
carve the earth Up into segments.
Hear is a list of the nations/places and what they should become to encorporate everyone.

Scandanavia and the UK - Monachy
North America - Capitalist
South America - A Senate
Asia - Socialist
Europe - Mixed Federation with bits of Capitalism and Socialism.
Middle East - Theocracy
Australasia - Anarchist/Free society

this will work because there would be need for only minor elections as the parys wouldnt need to be that competing. If you want to live capitalistly then you move to North America.
If you want to live Socialistly then move to Asia.
Some people Like having one council representing all the peoples that votes for laws.
All those who still want a King or Queen Can move to the UK.
Those who want a mixed socialist-capitalist society, i.e: Capitalist but with free healthcare and education, ect, can move to Europe.
And those that want a Governmet ruled by a diety can go to the Middle east. The middle east may have to be split up again though to cover the major religions.
Australasia can just be for regular foke who just dont really care and want to rule themselves, growing their own food and generating their own electricity, ect.
Also. With countrys this size, it would be impossible to use nuclear missiles because everyone else will have them.
No one will want to use them so they will become obsolete.
What do you guys think.
No Nuclear war,
Everyone has the government they want,
No need for super major elections that can be rigged (*cough used to hide word "Iran")
Elections will still be needed, but not ones on the scale where the left wings and right wings are fighting it out.

I want your opinions and also suggestions for names of the States.
GO!

Or you could just crush everyone under the heel of oppression.
and make a single, united planet. instead of what we pretty much already have.

Flaw: Why would you possibly want to live under a military regime? In SOUTH AMERICA? And if there was no wars, there would be no need for a military anyway...

It wouldn't stop one country wanting something another country has and invading them to take it though would it.

yes, but 1 Unified Terran Nation is much different to 6 constantly bickering States that could be created.
absorbtion into a single nation with a single ruling council, with a military to enforce the laws without question. freedoms can come later when we start inter-planetary colonisation.

And what happens to india? not to mention the confliction of different cultures coming together to join a form of governemnt, they have one thing in common, but that is all in their eyes.

And of course on of these Governments will want something, money, land, power, take your pick, its like this today so its nothing new, they will fight to acheive it, You want world peace? make it so trade with everyone is profitable fro everyone, Britain and France Fucking hate each other, it is common fact that they dont mess with each other, (though at present they have cooled off from the wars before) is because they are very profitable traders with each other.

If anything, this plan will make things worse.

And I remind you also that Nukes will be used anyway, regardless of anothers nukes, A person Doesnt Go ahead with a plan thinking they wont win, they would plan to hit all their silos with one quick Nuke Attack, if it didnt work, well everyones fucked.

hopefully one day we will get there, but lets take small steps before randomly just uniting everyone, when everyone has different views.

Can't have governments to be large and rigid; that's what brought down the Ottoman Empire (large-scale European war failure aside).

Besides, you can't give a choice, because governments and leaders, especially in more repressive, autocratic, and commonly socialist regimes, keep people in, instead of having a free transit to another nation. If you look at the Koreas, the North keeps its citizens on lockdown, but (except for a few months before) the South commonly has families, workers, and executives cross the border northwards.

This could never work, because you're assuming that people want these things. Truth is, everybody with a political opinion wants everybody to be like them, they may respect their opinions, but they secretly want them to change it. You're also assuming that the people who live in these divided states want to live in a world as you described. The bottom line, you can't make everybody happy all the time. You try to, and you will fail. The only way for humanity to truly unite, is for people, nations even, to learn to swallow their goddamned pride and compromise with others. Only through initial compromise can other ideas be expressed to nations who don't necessarily want to hear or practice those ideas. The only way for our species to unite is for us to fundamentally change certain views, and while change always happens, it will only happen when the country or citizens therein are ready. Regardless of how beneficial it may be.

Theocratic regime needs to be split up... fanatically relegious people tend to not like the other relegions.

How bout afrika and australia?

One could be Anarchy/jungle-law ish where there was no regime, and no rules.

Noone will EVER make like half the world move to different continents.

Kinda hard to be born and grow up in a country and have to leave your fammily in order to live where you want.

isn't this kinda (loosely i know) how the world looks like today? at least for the USA/Europe/Middle East part.

The idea is decend, but impossible to execute.

What about people`s different languages and cultures?

Wouldn`t they be lost in this process?

Unfortunately people will always have conflicting views.
thats why I stated an army to enforce the laws. You (sometimes unfortunately) need capital punishment to either keep the people in line and keep up efficiency (need that if we are to survive), or to make an example of ones who go against the system.
what's the saying? Can't make an ommlette without breaking a few heads eggs
