Poll: Howl's Moving Castle... What do we think?

I loved it! It's one of my favorite anime movie of all time!

I watched it once when I was quite young. It had cool characters and pretty colors so I thought it was the shit.

Nothing like a comment like this to make me feel old.

I was great. Not the greatest Miyazaki film... but a great film.

I've never heard of anyone who hated it. It's a really beautiful, magical film, and the animation is jaw dropping. It's a classic that anyone can enjoy, although I've never read the book.

The Castle of Cagliostro is far superior to most of those films in his arsenal in my opinion. That, and Princess Mononoke.

Princess Mononoke will always be my favorite of Miyazaki but it was my wife's favorite until Ponyo came out.

look howls moving castle was a good movie and by all means a great anime but my top 3 favourites are castle in the sky(as it was the first ever anime movie i saw) princess mononoke and my personal favourite spirited away

Definitely wasn't one of Miyazaki's best. Miyazaki's practically trademark reversal of standard anime formula (normal person in extrordinary world) is still there, but the chick was pretty exceptional in a great number of ways. Which made her pretty boring. Howl seemed genuinely flawed and human despite his situation, but nothing was developed on that. Then it was resolved very unceremoniously through the power of (AI-DESU) love.

Give me some spirited away or Totoro.

But if you want to get into favorite works, the nausicaa manga pretty much trumps everything, even if the anime ... didn't.

I really like it. It's fantasy land was very cool, and it had an awesome amount of creative characters, cultures, inventions, and plot devices.

It's probably my favorite Miyazaki film, and I have seen Princess Monoke, Spirited Away and the other movies.

Sorry, I tend to get a bit carried away about Howl's Moving Castle. Maybe it's because Calcifer is so bloody awesome.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. It was the first 'good' anime movie I saw, and because of that, I just had to look for more.

It was pretty good. I only saw it recently for the first time, and even though it's as old as it is, I still found it to be one of the better ones I've seen. I reallly like how Miyazaki develops his characters and Story.

I didn't know Castle of Cagliostro was directed by Miyazaki.
I loved that movie.

OT:I really enjoyed Howls Moving castle.
I thought it was wonderful and i loved the characters, but i like Steamboy and Princess Mononoke more.
Kiki's DS was also pretty good and My Neighbor Totoro was a really sweet movie.
