Right now as I am writing this it is 12:28 at night. My dad is sitting near me watching as well. I am near the end of the movie I Am Legend where he's sacrificing himself. This movie kept me gripping my sofa's seat all night... What was your most intense part of the movie? Did you even like it what would you rate it? If you didn't like it what did you not like.
Mine is all of the movie I honestly cant pick I love this movie now. 5 out of 5!!!!

Holy shit does this thread have a lock in it's future.

OT: I thought it was OK at first but both the endings just ruined it from being good. And now everytime I watch it I hate it a little more.

Nice spoiler warning.

And I'm not going to rate it, but I do think the film was at its best when showing the day-to-day life and survival of Smith's character in the deserted New York. I also found the enemies terrifying before they were exposed, but just laughable afterwards.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I haven't read the book, so my opinion isn't coloured by that.

Yea the dogs had an impact on me to. I sat there my eyes almost glazed over at the sight of Smith's holding back his tears while his dog died in his arms

When they got in his house freaked me out. When that kid made the noise alerting the thing on the ceiling I thought that was kind of dumb and overused in horror films.

i laughed at the idea of a Woman curing cancer and thereby sending the world into damnation.

if humans were to be doomed i always figured a Man would count down the signal.

The movie was fine until the studio executives listened to the stupid test audience and changed the real ending into that stupid one that renders the title of the film meaningless and pretty much ruined the film in the process.

I haven't read the book myself either, but I've seen other adaptations that, for all their other faults, at least got the damn ending right. There's a reason it's called "I Am Legend".

Meh, I didn't have too many issues with it, but I can't really say I liked it too much. It's okay, that's really it.

Not bad, but what the hell was the point of...

Standing there with the fucking grenade to stop them, when he could have just climbed into the tunnel after those guys, and tossed the grenade behind him for the EXACT SAME EFFECT!

Never actually seen it. I'll have to look into it sometime.

Same with I, Robot.
OT:You should honestly watch IRobot its a great movie.

Anyways I did like the movie it was good if you ignored the silly parts. However I did like what I read in a summery of the book instead of the movie. Instead of Smith being the "Legend" because he found the cure for the thingemabob he was the "Legend" because he hunted down the infected people. He was a legend to them because he was trying to save them while they had their own society going and he was the outcast in their society not the other way around.

I think thats what it was but I enjoyed both but found the fact that the guy with the clothing of the infected was clever yet still barbaric made me think that oversimplified things a wee bit.

ugh not another apocolypic/zombie mashup movie, I thought the storyline was a tad cliched and found myself wishing the woman and son would just get eaten by zombies. I figured the dog would have to die at some point, so i was kinda prepared for it

It really was, I was very disapointed with the original ending. Lucky I went back and watched the alternative.

I enjoyed the movie, but I read about how the book ends and would have preferred if they had the books ending in the movie instead.
