Poll: I need help buying something

So I'm finally gonna get a PS3. However I don't know which game I should get first. Tomb Raider Underworld, or Little Big Planet? I know I'll like both of them, but which one is more worth the coin I'm going to shell out?

I bought LBP myself - it was a great platformer but really didn't draw me back asmuch as I hoped it would have. However, it does have Stephen Fry narrorating which is pretty cool!
If your sure you like them both Id would try LBP if I were you... The level editor should keep you entertained for awhile also.
I havn't played the recent Tomb Raider though so I don't have an opinion on that one. Perhaps rent both and see which one you prefer and go by that? This way you play two games and you know that you'll make an informed choice!

Any game system that gives you a game, where you can shoot Mario witha Rocket Launcher, shock him with a rat, and beat him with his own *****, is a game system worth my money.

I dont think either should be your first PS3 title. I would recommend Resistance personally, but out of your two options I would have to go with LBP.

Yeah, resistance looks freaking awesome. However, I am a big Lara Croft Fan Boy, and I prefer platformers over fps.

Metal Gear Solid 4.

I just bought a PS3 about a week ago mostly for the blu-ray player (Since I have a 360 and a wii for my gaming) but almost as much for MGS4. One of the best games of all time.

Contstructive contribution, you fail at it.

I would say LBP, then pick up tomb Raider sometime next year when it's going cheap. LBP certainly has the more potential play time in it, although it probably takes more effort to begin with.

I don't own either but seeing as LBP was advertised sinse the dawn of time it must have some good points with it. I've seen a demo/trailer for Tomb Raider and the advert that they're showing on TV at the moment and it really doesn't look all that good, like it won't have the same calibre as the rest of the series. LBP (as far as I'm aware) is the first of a possible series, so it has no expectations to beat other games...bonus!
