Rod Serling was a paratrooper and a boxer, true or false?
true and you better know who Rod Serling is
Nah you don't really know who Rod Serling is (although I do). But you should know what the twilight zone is. I actually had the twilight zone for my location on xbox live just for a joke. But when someone saw it they thought of Twilight. Epic fail......

In the "Empire Strikes Back" why, when evacuating Hoth, did the rebels head straight for the Imperial ships rather than in a different direction entirely?
Think of it this way. You're the operator for the giant starship-crippling cannon (Ion Cannon), wouldn't you specifically want any sort of "We're under attack, evacuate!" plan to involve you shooting a Star Destroyer at least once?
Semi-realistically though, they probably wanted to disable the Imperial ships to avoid their evacuation crafts from being pursued by the Empire immediately.

For the original topic, I don't think it matters so much as to who shot first; The main point is Greedo dies. :D

If Superman is invincible, how can Kryptonite hurt him?
Kryptonite is the remains of his home planet, where he was a normal humanoid and didn't have super powers. Next question!

EDIT: My question is: "who would win in a cage match: The Witch King or Voldemort"?

In a proper cage match, no magic allowed, the Witch King would kick Voldemort's arse. With magic, if Avada Kedavara works on the Witch King, Voldie would probably win. But I think that's his only chance, and I don't get the feeling that it would, because isn't he technically already dead?

A parsec is a unit of distance not time, how did the Millennium Falcon make the Kessel run in less than 12?
That's easy. Han was making stuff up to look more impressive in front of the podunk dirt farmers. Just look at Obi Wan's face during that scene. He knows its bullshit, but he goes along with the guy anyway 'cause he has places to go, former-apprentices to get killed by.

You know all those sci-fi shows where you have an episode that people can walk through walls because they're out of flux? How do they not fall through the floor? (Not my question, it was asked on Stargate)

Greedo!!!!!

But George Lucas changes it in each version.

In mine, Greedo shoots first, Han dodges it, then Han shoots Greedo and he explodes.

But I've seen it different in other versions.

Probably ninja'd somwehere in four pages, but due to the constant motion of heavenly bodies, it's entirely conceivable that Han lucked out in both timing and Navigation (cutting through dangerous areas of space even other smugglers would avoid), to cut the distance of a particular run.

Can a lightsaber cut Adamantium? Superman?

Yes, as a lightsaber can only not cut the metal cortosis. Sorry Superman you need a new suit like the one for kryptonite.

Because it measures how close you can get to the black hole, which the pilots then use the sling-shot type effects.

Superman is not invincible. His already substantial stamina is boosted by the Earth's yellow sun. He is, essential, allergic to Kryptonite. In the same way an Olympic tri-athlete might be the peak of human endurance and strength - an allergy to peanuts is still going to cripple him very quickly.

The invincible is just an apparent, not an absolute.

Who gave a green light to the One More Day storyline for Spider-Man? For they must suffer horribly.

If a lightsaber amounts to projecting monochromatic light into a focused beam, then why don't the blades extend to infinity?
A lightsaber blade is actually a small amount of plasma, the 4th phase of matter, contained by a magnetic field. This gives it a cylindrical shape and limits it to around 3 or 4 feet in length. This also explains why lightsabers can't cut through each other.

Part of Superman's resilience comes from what amounts to a forcefield. Although the concept of a forcefield is not exactly science it would present a unique challenge to lightsabre as it would be of a similar design to the weapons itself.

Which would make our very own comissar Hero of The Imperium run faster (assuming there's no-one of consequence to witness it): coming face-to-face with a Genestealer, or being on the business end of a plasma pistol wielded by a Chaos Sorcerer?
Well that depends on if commisar Yarrick stand behind him or not.
Because if so he would run toward the genestealer/Chaos Sorcerer.
What wouldn't make him run are my necrons, they would disintegrate him.

I say totally to the laser eyes.
I beg to differ, sir. Lightsabres deflect blaster bolts, clouds of ionized "Blaster gas". Superman's heat vision is simply an area of accelerated molecules, with no more/less charge than normal air, thus his heat vision would most likely not be deflected by the sabre.

Why is Boba Fett so cool? He did basically nothing in the movies yet he is some badass.

BTW I do think he's badass too I'm just wondering why.
His action figure was one of the rarest.

They had to escape Hoth's gravity in order to make the hyperspace jump. The fastest way to do this was to go straight up, and if they tried to escape via a different vector it would simply give the Star Destroyers time to lock on and fire. Also, their proximity to an Imperial cruiser made other ships in the fleet far less likely to fire on them.

Joe Quesada. The editor in chief of Marvel, and he didn't just greenlight it. He DEMANDED it. The writer only made it because of his contract, and he asked for his name to be removed from the piece... Understandabley. Yeah, and you thought that only Lucas could kill a franchise.

I apologise for being the, ooh, I dunno, tenth person to correct you on this, but I promis I'll do a better job than the others. The sun stuff you already know, but he is also vulnerbale to magic and, in the 80s, a kryptonian superweapons called Darkside, a snot green yeti, beat him to death with its bare hands. Superman died... And got better.

Actually, there's also Mandalorian Iron, Neuranium, Phrik, Ultrachrome and anything treated with Sith Alchemy. God bless Wookieepedia.

Edit: My apologies for how that came out, Behatted Wanderer. This many quotes a difficult to keep track of.
