I dislike that people who do something as trivial as correct another person's grammar are referred to as Nazis.
I'm mainly refering to the extremists.
I understand that, but you're just as bad as them...and when I say that, I mean you're not really bad at all. They make a big deal out of something stupid like poor grammar, then you make a big deal out of them doing it. Referring to their trivial comments with something as serious as Nazis kind of makes you worse in my book, though.

Both groups are possibly the most nitpicky bastards on the internet, to each other respectively, and I try to ignore all of you.

There's not a problem with pointing out a person's grammar mistake. But when they get into flaming the person because of said mistake, then I hate them.
Couldn't resist...
I am not normally a grammar nazi... but I tend to transform into one when it is REALLY bad or in threads like this.
I better not see anyone else use that ^

Ok, Ill bite!

I point out threads which are copies. I dare one user (that is older than 12 & has the intellegence higher than that of sparrow.) to tell me that seeing the same goddam topics re-worded over & over again doesnt annoy you. If someone can show me one ill show you a lying user.

If a thread has been dead for over a month, Sure, Re-do, I wont say nothing. If it has been done in the past 24 hours (which is happening increasingly often) then they havent checked the search bar.

Repeat threads (i mean DIRECT repeat threads, the one i got into the arguement about in the first place admittedly is a weak, but still valid case) should be warned & punished.

Incorrect search bar nazi-ism is frowned upon for obvious reasons.

Why fault someone for trying to better you? You spelt a word wrong and you were corrected, now you know how that word is spelt. The english language is slowly devolving into a series of grunts and moans because people don't respect the language. You abuse and mutilate it and get angry when someone takes offense to that? For shame. Learn to spell. I direct you to this song: http://www.entertonement.com/clips/ktsdzgkwxw--Palette-Swap-Ninja-Learn-to-Spell?fl_link=1_bd35aca2_4f43_11de_8a47_0015c5f4d265

I think you should state the difference between internet Nazis, like these ones [http://www.kukluxklan.bz/], and the grammatical Nazis.

Anyway, I'm not that great when it comes to grammar and spelling, but I'd like to improve myself: when I see a post that's indecipherable it kinda gets on my nerves, and so I try to distance myself from that.

That aside, all I'd really life is for posts to be readable, I make minor errors in relation to things like colons, semi-colons, and ellipses all the time so it's not the worse thing in the world.
That is the Klan; they are not Nazis. These are Nazis. [http://www.aryan-nation.org]

I actually like them, because they help point out the retards who arent even trying to use proper grammar, such as "da song rulz, all hatrs u fck of!!!" <- Actual quote from Youtube (suprise, right?).

But i may be optimistic, hoping that some of them might actually change into using English because of the grammar-nazi's, but then again, i may just be dreaming.
Whoever typed that comment forgot to put an apostrophe between the "n" and "t" in the word "aren't."

I don't mind Grammar Nazis. Also, you didn't capitalize the W in What.

Yeah well, the thing about that is, they are really only bettering their own opinions of themselves. People make mistakes, just because they make a typo or grammatical error doesn't mean they don't know how to spell it or don't have a grasp on the english language. And who the fuck are they or you to assume so? Nobody likes a person who goes around correcting others especially when it's a self appointed station. The thing is most of these people only do it because they think it elevates them in some way.

To an extent. If someone types a message with grammar so awful that you can't understand it, it makes sense that someone would try and correct it. If it's just a small mistake (they're, their, there) and you can still understand what they were trying to say, then you shouldn't worry about it.

I don't see the need for a "casual" spelling - or behaving like a little punk over the internet.
If it's not the same way you'd write when filling out a job application, or requesting a loan, leave it the hell off my internet!

I'm not perfect at grammar or spelling, but at least make an effort. Butchering the language is what I take offense at - I would not nitpick slight mistakes.

Depends. I have to admit but I correct peoples grammar in a nice way. I'll nicely say "You spelled through wrong." But I won't be like "Nine!(I know I spelled it wrong) you spelled through wrong! To Gas Chamber number 5!" That's just not cool.

The search bar ninja don't have any point though. Who is it hurting if there are two topics on the same (don't mind the pun) topic.

Although not one, I support their efforts here to keep everyone in literary check. God knows how many brain cells we've saved here reading actual words over txt speak.
