I download Movies,Tv-shows,Games and Music (Since I live in sweden we're pretty much around 2-3 months behind on every show.
I dont think its wrong.
I would stop if they lowered the price on games & music & movies and if I lost my internet connection.
I ain't sure if I can pirate more.. Already got 100/100mbs line and unlimited download..

I only pirate things that aren't worth buying. Like mediocre games that have a shred of chance to be worth buying.

With that said, I hate when game developers/companies whatever assume just because you pirate their game you would have bought it. I was never going to buy it, unless it was adequate enough justify me spending the crazy amount of money required to purchase games in this country (Australia.).

EDIT: The only exception are movies. I download movies which aren't worth going to the cinemas for or if I couldn't be bothered spending money on a generic movie which will probably be average. Basically the same thing I said above..

Pirated version of Photoshop - things so damn expensive on it's own + you need a damn course to learn how to use it properly. Pirated Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver when I had it. Few cartoons, Invader Zim, Futurama, Clone High, some Family Guy and Simpsons.

Oh, and F.E.A.R 2. Felt bad about it but really I'm very glad I didn't pay full price for that thoroughly dissapointing mish-mash of "scary things" that didn't answer anything about the damn plot of the first one, or even elaborate on it, just...

...anyway, off topic.

F.E.A.R. 2 sucked.

This sums it up prety well
I think I like you, comrade!

edit: To add extra content...

It's a really interesting time to be. Our technology yet again challenges the old concepts, and from this point it can go either way. Look at what the printing press did back in the day - and compare all the panic from back then with what happens today. As far as I can see, there are 2 extreme ways it could go... and perhaps a boring middle way nobody cares about.

Either the "clergy" manage to dismantle and greatly control "the presses", and I see that as a VERY bad outcome here...

Or the technology smashes a lot of current views and opinions, a lot of chaos happens and chances are something cool's going to come out of it. Either way, a bit of chaos never hurts, and it's really the only way for things to advance. You either stagnate, or you have a revolution.

What kind of stuff do you download?
Do you think its wrong?
What would have to happen to make you stop?
Or make you pirate more?

1.The only thing that i could be accounted for is one or two old roms i have downloaded for games that are around 13 years old and i still own just can't play cause i don't have their consoles etc.

2.Yes i think piracy in general is wrong

3.Getting caught but thats unlikely since i am not really doing anything wrong.

4.I refrain from piracy and i don't think i will be pirating any time soon.

Also if anyone read this can you tell me if what i did is illegal? JW
Yes it is illegal, The companies would have you hunt down the equipment you need to play your old games, or you have to pay to upgrade to a new console like the wii and then redownload your old games as roms while they get paid for it.
Thankz glad someone answered me :D will do.

I think the issue is companies try and cater to those who love something, Dvd's with special features and all that. Where is the option for a reduced price disc that only has the movie on it? I don't even need a scene selection I was raised on vhs and have no need for all this useful added stuff that adds costs to products I buy weekly.
