Assuming I'm a bog-standard normal person, invincible all the way.

Immortality, because then I'd be safe from any Hell. Also, I'd get to dance on the graves of people I don't like.

so...

be superman or be the exact same forever...

ill pick invincibility, even though it would be cool to be here till the end of time, it would drive me insane more then once im sure.

Living forever would have you see everything die... ever. Until the very earth itself is destroyed. And you float through space alone... forever and ever.

So yeah.. invincibility. Living forever would suck

FINALLY! Someone gets immortal and invincible right!

OT: Probably invincibility. I'm already highly resilient to damage, but complete protection would be awesome.

Immortal = God Emperor. Besides if your immortal you would have a very long list of lovers, as humans are surprisingly adaptable. Its only the most whining characters (that resemble twilight vampires) that despise their immortality. Besides being the Highlander or The Dr must not be so bad.

Life without pain would be good, but I would like to see the year 3000 while being 19 forever.

So if that means i die in the year 2063 by being run down by a garbage powered hover car then it's my own darn fault!

Is it immortal as in:

We dont die of natural causes (age) but we can still be killed.
or
Nothing can hurt us ever.

people are forgetting thet the "Immortal" option does not mean necessarily that you will live forever. more than likely you will get killed at one point.

seriously this is a tough question. invincibility is the safe bet, as I'm nearly guaranteed to be able to do a lot of good for the world, be a superhero, all that jazz, but being immortal means, if I'm lucky, I can change the world on a massive scale, over a longer period.

if it meant the second one, how would it be a choice between that and invincibility?

Invincibility.

Because if I told a friend I was immortal they would get the two confused and stab me just to check.

I would rather be invincible than immortal.

A) Living forever would be a punishment, having to see everyone you knew pass on.
B) Being invincible would allow me to be more than just a normal guy, it would open up so many opportunities. I could be a vigilante, i could be a celebrity, i could be a lab rat to open up that technology to others. The possibilities would be endless!
