Yes, they should have let it die after the third season like it was supposed to. Then it would be remembered as a great show that ended ``too soon'' rather than a show that's gradually getting less and less funny.

If there's one thing I have to agree with it's that American Dad is very underrated.

South Park is easily the greatest animated show of our generation. The only one that ever came close to its brilliance and sheer entertainment value would have to be Futurama. Unfortunately it was aired on the Fox network, and if Firefly has taught us anything its that Fox hates success and apparently feeds off of the hate of the mass public

IMO, it's only funny if Peter is fighting the chicken or there's a scene with Adam West. The running gag about Meg gets a chuckle or two.

I think the chicken fight is being overused. It was funny the first two times or so but afterwords I feel that they needed to stop.

If there's one thing I have to agree with it's that American Dad is very underrated.

I would also agree with this, It surpassed family guy a long time ago. Also, considering south park's decline since season 12 and it's pretty much the best animated t.v. show at the moment. Not laugh out loud funny most of the time, but very enjoyable.

There was a huge cave in with quality around the fourth season... And somehow that was the time where American Dead became funnier.

Family guy still has its moments... but they are sparse.

Damn, beaten to it. It's been downhill for a while now, but it's still funny...sometimes. The overly-long cut in gags are annoying, but stuff like Road to the Multiverse is fantastic.

So to answer your question, no, not really, it's still just as terrible as always. Now it's just terrible and stuck up its own ass.

The Simpsons is too erratic. The quality of the post-8th season episodes are extremely schizophrenic, or at least that's what I think.


As for American Dad, I see it as the painting that becomes more beautiful while Family Guy grows old and ugly.
