True, but the simpson's eventually fell to the point where they just stopped being good all together. I think Family Guy is where the simpsons was around it's 11th season, still watchable on occasion, but you can tell it's running out of ideas.Small Waves said:The Simpsons is too erratic. The quality of the post-8th season episodes are extremely schizophrenic.thenoblegaunt said:You pretty much summed up my thoughts on the show. Except I think the Simpson's had a much more visible decline, so far at least.Small Waves said:When it came back it wasn't as good as the previous seasons but was still enjoyable, but then it started to show the most visible decline in quality I have ever seen in any show I have seen in my lifetime.

Went down hill after season 4.thenoblegaunt said:I've seen some of the more recent episodes and some of them are just not as good as the older ones. Am I crazy or not?
To be fair the joke was funny like once. What I really meant was gags like that stupid 5 minute long Conway Twitty song they cut to once.skitzo van said:Surprisingly there's a guy I know who thinks the long, drawn out, stupid leg break scene is hilarious, but then again I do wonder how he manages to keep his brainwaves moving.thenoblegaunt said:Like those never ending live action gags that don't actually have any jokes.oppp7 said:It's been going downhill for a few years now.
