I've always considered it to be in Eurasia. That sounds cooler too.
Though what else is in eurasia?

Valve ROOLS!!! I just had to vote for that option cause I just got Portal for free. Thank you Valve! Thank you for not being Microsoft!

OT: Most of it is in Asia but it is considered a European nation. Eurasia makes the most sense and sounds the nicest.

This is what happens when you remove geography from your school's curriculum. Damn you, George W. for your stupid "no child left behind" plan.
And yet im in Ireland. and I don't do geography.

It is Russia. It's big enough to be a continent by itself.
Seriously though, the bit west of the Ural Mountains is in Europe and the rest is in Asia if I remember rightly and I think Demented Teddy is right about it being separated from the rest of Asia by mountains, the Stepps if I'm not mistaken.

the biggest part is in asia, but around 60% of the civilians live in the europe side.
you see, the east part of rusia is in asia, while the west is in europe.
at least, that is what i was teached, here in europe...

If you look at actual land, Asia.

If you look at the population, definitely Europe.

I don't remember what I was thought in geography class back in middle school in Russia, and as far as I remember people generally stuck with "Europe" because much of Russian territory in Asia is pretty unlivable and very few people compared the the European part of Russia actually live there. Seriously, just look at the map or something.

And then there's all the apparent prestige of being European that some people find a big deal, somehow.

Although perhaps the right answer is Eurasia, I've never been a big geography nut back then. But still, as concentration of population goes, it's Europe.
