Poll: Is young love a thing?

Depends on how you define love. Personally, I say romantic love is a temporary thing most of the time. So yeah, young love is a thing, and it's a fine thing... so long as the youngsters are smart about sex.
Therein lies the problem, most times.

Nah. You need to get screwed over a few times before you truly begin to comprehend what love is.

I think yes. Problem is, it's always the FIRST love, and we don't know what the hell we're doing. Things go wrong, you screw it up, stuff you're not prepared for, and in the end you don't have the knowledge or experience to deal with it.

It's as legitimate as any other sort of 'love', it's just that it's not as often successful.

I know from my own experience that I thought when I was seventeen that I could never be more in love. Yet I am constantly being proved wrong. Now I am looking back and laughing at how silly my idea of love was back then. Who knows, I may do the same thing in another few years time.
