Are you threatened by Men wearing M.U.G.'s (Mens Unbifurcated Garments). There seems to be many a men who are threatened or Think they look too much like a cross dresser. The Truth is that Kilts and many other kinds of M.U.G.'s are very comfortable. They give you a sence of freedom. I wear a Great Kilt and many of my lady friends thing I look good in it. It feels great to roam around feeling free and being able to wear whatever the hell I want.

Read up and post.

I'm Irish by descent on my mother's side of the family. Yes we wear kilts too, it's not just the Scots. Kilts kick ass, if I had one I'd probably wear it.

I'm hurt by the lack of a "kilts are fucking awesome" option on the poll.

I like kilts because of the tradition behind them though. If it was just some guy in a skirt I don't think they would look anywhere near as awesome.

I agree with this, and I am iffy about the plain black kilts. And that daft pinstripe one Jack McConnell wore once...
So yes, kilts are fucking awesome!

I honestly wish kilts were the status quo, that and traditional 1920s-30s dress wear(fedoras and trilbies for all).

Fedoras KICK ASS.

Honestly, I've never worn a kilt but I'm not intimidated by it. I don't think I would really look good in one either, since I'm a semi-wiry build and not stocky.

While I have not ever worn a kilt I am not adverse to the idea, though I probably wouldn't look too great in one.

My friend is obsessed over kilts. I myself am not too thrilled over wearing a kilt. Maybe a couple hundred years ago when skirts weren't around I would have worn one. However times are different now.

Was that a joke?

The Irish and Scottish have been rather close throughout history, and yes, the Irish have kilts too.

If you don't believe me, believe Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilt

Given that I have strong Celtic background (as evidenced by the fact that I'm whiter than Michael Jackson in a blizzard) I think kilts are rather cool.

I've been in support of breaking down the genderization of certain clothing, so I'm all for anyone wearing what they want as long as they aren't flashing themselves.

I've no problem with men wearing skirts, whatever floats your boat.
