Poll: L4D Dead4U?

I haven't played L4D in ages. I liked the game, but the lack of content, the SDK, the failures to fix bugs, the repetitive server failures and lobby catastrophes forced me off the edge.
I think I stopped playing a bit after the survival update, I tried to get back into it but nothing has changed so I can't pick it up again.

Playing once a month doesn't count as "I'm still playing" btw. I mean playing regularly.

I liked Left 4 Dead while I rented it. I've wanted to buy it, but with the sequel coming out, I'll just wait.

I still enjoy playing Left 4 dead on occasions but I honestly prefer TF2 zombie mods and Killing floor at the moment, maybe I'll get more into it when Crash Course comes out.

I think l4d is an awesome game but after playing it for ten months straight and i mean straight.Everytime i was online i was either playing a new game that normally only lasted two days then spent a month or so playing l4d but after ten months solid any game is going to struggle to keep peoples attention.Not bad for a game i picked up at my game station because i was bored.

I do play it from time to time, usually when I either have a friend over or a friend who owns it online. I just don't think its one of the games that you go into alone because, on the 360, not many people are actually that fond of talking and/or actually playing as a team.

Left 4 Dead is a good game but it needs more weapon variety as well as levels, in an expansion pack that doesn't cost 50USD

Yeah if your friends are all way into it, I used to be because of that, but then it just faded out because we all had gotten very sick of it. When it came down to it that director didn't mix things up much, the variety was normal. And the vpk system is pretty bad.

For me it's dead. I'm still making my campaign though :/ because it's going to be awesome

I still play and just started playing again a bit before they announced crash course. and my friends just recently got it, but I don't have many server problems or see many glitches besides the power-shot glitch.

i havent played for a LONG... while. but its still fun now and then. im just waiting for the sequel right now.

I play it now and then on occasion.
My biggest gripe was the short campaign, and at many times, very linear levels. On the other hand, others claim that the short campaign makes for better memorization of each and every map, which can greatly aid teamwork. All in all: Solid game, awaiting the sequel.

It's an excellent game, I just don't have people to play with, and it's one of those games that you can't enjoy unless you have people you know to fuck around with. Hopefully, I'll be getting a new computer soon, and I'll be able to start playing it for the PC with all the cool kids
