Well I'll be bringing them up as Tolkien fans regardless. They won't have a choice in the matter. Instead of lullabies, I'll read them extracts from The Silmarillion. xD

Hey man it's you life, you should call yourself what ever you want. But I sugget you do this with a lot of thinking, not because it sounds cool. Name changes aren't really something you can just take back if you don't like it in a month

It would be cool up to a point, or to put it another way, naming yourself after a video game character will likely keep you single for life.
