Heh I remember when me and my friends used to play Left 4 Dead, we all had set characters and would all act out, or type, our favourite lines said by the characters. It eventually all boiled down to us making it sound like some kind of gay innuendo with us all shouting, "BILL!" "FRANCIS!" "LOUIS!" Ah fun times.

I liked the whole coach, ellis, and nick thing but the girl doesnt seem to have any purpose or character beyond the fact that half the time I have to play as her. But I loved the first survivors too. but i guess left 8 or left 7 dead wouldnt have the same ring or clever number joke.

Rochelle sucks, she has no interesting character traits.

Then why does everyone like Zoey so much more? She has even less personality.

Zoey was funny, and had an interesting back story (she survived because she watched a lot of horror/zombie movies). Also unlike Rochelle Zoey was attractive.

Rochelle has made me laugh just as many times as Zoey. Though do to both of them lacking dialogue they rarely do so. And Zoey had a backstory? I wasn't even aware of that, because she never mentions it once. Lastly, you shouldn't consider a character to be good just because you find them to be attractive. Personally I find them both to be equally attractive, but I don't judge them based on that.

I like Francis from the first game and Nick from the second. I don't know, the ones from the first game had a bit more personality and the ones from the second like to swear a lot. But I don't really play Left 4 Dead for the survivors. I play them for the zombies.

God Ellis makes me want to punch someone. Constantly yelling at him to shut up.

I prefer old survivors. Hands down. Though Coach and Nick are awesome in their own right.
